New Ski Setup Help

someone read the sticky before posting...good stuff.

Something that's going to be all mountain, I'm assuming you don't get much powder in Quebec if I'm not mistaken, which means lots of ice, right?

Personally, while I've heard the Suspects are really fun and exciting, but I'm not touching them until they learn to make them not blow up. That being said, Chronics (or even the Cryptonite if you can swing it) are super fun all mountain and will handle extremely well in and out of the park. The Revival, while I haven't ridden them yet, I have ridden the Domain, which is a softer, symmetrical "version" of the Revival, so I can kinda guess what they'd be like, and they will be also very fun and even have a bit of rocker to help you through the spring mush and make butters and presses fun and easy. My pick would be the Revival cause "Jib Rocker" is extremely fun and the ski has a lot of liveliness to it. But, you can't go wrong with the Chronic either, that ski is amazing.

get that one. dimensions and construction make them all quite versatile.

Lines, they are sick skis.

ya dont know which ones to buy, i get line, k2, rossi, salomon.

will the rockers have that much of an effect on my skiing on groomers?

and which bindings should i go with jesters, griffons or schizo?

im stuck and im not sure what to do?

revivals are so sick! they are rockered and flat cambered but still carve way better than most park skis. plus they are spring loaded so massive pop!

mount some jesters on them and set them to 15 and youll be on your way to being a ninja.

Go with the Jesters, much more durable than Griffons and at your weight you'll be able to handle them. Don't go schizo unless you KNOW you're DEFINITELY going to use them for the purpose of moving the mounting position around, not really worth it unless you really plan on switching it up often.

so I think this has helped a lot, any other set ups that would be good to last me a couple of years a be a good ski that I'll have fun with

flashkick was saying go with revival or chronics and i agree but he also said go with the cryptonite if you can swing it. the swing weight difference between the chronic and chronic cryptonite is very small and it will give u more landing area and balance on rails. i live east coast too and i got the cryptonites. so def go with the wider version

soo are you saying go with the chronics or the k2 revivals? wouldnt the chronic cryptonites be easier on groomers due to no rocker. and would the jesters fit on the chronic cryptonites?

I have a pair of 2009/2010 Volkl Bridge w/ Marker Griffon bindings already mounted for sale. Never have been used. I bought them in June and am looking to sell them because I want a ski that offers more flex in the park. Ill give you a good price. message me for details
