Idk if its only me but I am not impressed with the quality of these boots. So after using them today for the first time I pull the liners out to let them dry overnight and the outside of my liners are absolutly shredded. I stick my hand inside the boot only to cut my hand on all these little plastic pieces that are sticking out of the inside of the shell. Like almost little sharp bumps so either way I had to sand them down a ton. That was my first issue with these boots. I while sanding look at the back of my boot where the white plate is and on the direct back its chipped like a mofo somehow. So though that is currently only cosmetic damage my fear is that it will eventully end up cracking the back plate. Lastly the top cable where it comes out of the boot is all fucked up. It has one normal hole but the other is all mutilated and looks like I took a drill and tried to make the whole bigger somehow. Im not trying to bash full tilt boots by any mean but after spending 500$ on boots I dont expect to have these many problems. Either way I love the boots and they feel amazing I just am pissed mostly they shredded up my liners.
It could be an isolated incident, I would contact FT and see what they can do cause mine are fine, I haven't had to sand them down and there aren't any weird holes or anything, and I just tool the liner out to see what's wrong inside and they're fine., the only problem is the black marking on the tongue from the power strap, but that doesn't bother me.
Yeah my boots have the black marking also but thats just purely cosmetic so I dont really care. I plan on sending them an email though. I dont expect them to do anything about it really but whatever. Im gonna assume its just my boots so dont let this thread discourage anyone that reads this because they really are great boots ( comfort and performance wise ).
