I dropped out after sophmore year and got a two year degree at community college instead... it did take me nearly 4 years to get the 2 year.. but I was skiing for an entire year and doing lots of other stuff in between.. so it worked out.. I am still further ahead in college/uni then the majority of the people I would have graduated with.

i quit going 3 times throughout high school... for months at a time, which forced me to go to an alternative high school and i lost a bunch of credits doing that so i had to work harder to get them back. but i never technically and officially dropped out..

everything worked out, graduated the same time as my class and in college now..

i dropped out and did a remote learning thing for a high school diploma


worst idea ever in terms of your social life. most everyone in high school doesn't grasp the idea, and thinks you are a total dumbass for doing it.

you don't get to go to prom or walk the aisle, no more dances and shit. thats what high school is, like it or not. i did it because i was really far behind in comparison with my graduating class.

high school only offered the chance to go to an alternative education school that works with special needs kids (troublemakers) and somehow they get you more credits in less time than a high school. anyways they wouldn't let me join back up with my graduating class.

its lame.

i skipped my senior year and took all my classes at community college, doing a year of college credits and a year of highschool at the same time.


i still got a diploma from my highschool though so i dunno if that counts.


anyways, it was awesome (my schedule was 2 days a week so i snowboarded more than i honestly thought possible) but it was also kinda shitty. i was only 16 and in college, i looked really young and probably acted pretty young too and it was hard making friends.

almost, i was explelled from my first school, forced to go to this alternative reform type school for the rest of the year, moved for grade 12 and skipped every day the entire year and now im doing grade 12 B online and in books from home with 1 class at the school
