DayManAre you planning on riding them on cable or behind a boat?
Boat. The skis are up in PA at my parents place. I'm living in Florida so realistically I could bring them back to hit up some cable parks but I don't think there are any near Pensacola, most I've seen are down southeast more.

There's a sick one in Valdosta, GA but idk how far you are from that. I go to school in Tallahassee
Cool a fellow fly fisher! What do you fish for? I normally am an atlantic salmon fisher but this summer I'm in BC. Going to a remote river on van island to target steelhead this weekend :D

I chase brook and brown trout in the summer, king and pinks in the fall, and steelhead in the spring
I've never thrown a fly outside of Michigan but someday that'll change
Good luck this weekend, try a centerpin if you need a new challenge
soulskierThey do the job, I just grab what the wife tells me to but we haven't had any blowouts yet so that's good
I haven't taken any time to price out different brands but the wife has always liked Honest stuff
I was raised with cloth diapers but the convenience of disposable is going to keep me away from them, how are they treating you so far?
Hasn't been too bad, it seems he notices a dirty diaper more with the cloth ones. With the disposables I didn't feel like a wet diaper ever bothered him bc it soaks everything up so well.
We are less than 3 weeks into this thing so just kinda figuring things out.
I should at least note that there is a local cloth diaper delivery service we use. They drop clean diapers every week and take the shitty ones, no cleanup needed other than flip the poop in the toilet once it starts getting solid. Cheaper than disposables but more expensive than doing your own cloth. BUT to be honest neither of us would want to fuck with it if we had to clean ourselves, though we have some friends that have done it/are doing it.
patagonialukePlease give an update- have been curious about those for a while
Got about 4 sets on the wakeskis this weekend. First was about 17mph and I was screwing around with slides sideways and some switch skiing. It almost felt like 17 was too slow for switch, I ended up fighting a lot of drag.
Then I bumped it up to 22mph with no ballast. Started feeling out the jumping. Got a few wake to wake at speed but I had to edge pretty hard because the wake was small.
The next set was full ballast and fat sack. 23mph. Wake was mad intimidating at first, I never really got to jumping on a wakeboard so I have little experience with larger wakes. Got decently comfortable with jumping the wake. Wasn't getting a lot of pop because I was focused on getting there with speed. Did some sideways slides on top of the wake.
Last day I was getting a ton of pop and really feeling better about consistent jumping. Popping is huge. Took some decent bails and had a ton of fun just going big and riding around.
Sadly I won't be able to get back up there until next season but I am looking forward to it. I want to get more consistent at jumping and then start with some spins. The skis felt great. My biggest issue with really all waterskis is when I edge hard left I tend to push from my left ski at my right boot and up into my face.
Also I spin left naturally and going off the left side of the wake was easier which didn't make sense to me since I prefer edging and sliding left not right.
JAHpowI hope you don't lose them in case you eject in powder.
Good thing they're park skis.
I plan on giving them a good smattering of stickers so it's all good. That was my first concern, "oh god I lose my keys in my own house how am I going to keep track of these."

That should work or put some bright fks or looks on them
OregonDeadI like the looks of that Seiko. Been thinking about getting an automatic for a while now.
I just got it yesterday and wore it to work today. It's a sick watch. I rocked a timex weekender for the longest time and this is a definite upgrade from that. I snagged it from jomashop. They have quite a few nice seikos for wayyyy cheaper than retail.

Nice. My Dad has worn the same Seiko for my entire life so they last. I've got this G-Shock that will probably never die but sometimes I kinda want something that looks a little more dressy.
Bought all new camo for bow season this year. King's Camo. Seems to be really high quality with materials that I would compare to the best of ski layering.
