to all you aspiring graphic designers out there...I would love to see some ideas of what YOU guys think a cool ski would look like. Dynastar is coming up with new designs for some new skis we are ready to unleash for next year, and I just wanted to see if any of you had some cool graphic ideas

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

on the though of music inspored, have like a side of the ski, like the right 1/4 of the ski in like a wood print, like a desk, then have an mp3 player sitting on it on the tail, with the name of the ski and size on the screen of it, then have a cord run all the way up to the tip where there's a pair of headphones with a big logo on it like a sticker(i guess for this, it would be dynastar?), i thought it would be nice and simple...
another idea is like a city scene(kind of played out), but in the super foregournd of the tail is a guy reading a newspaper with the name of the ski and size on the front page as like a headline or what have you...then in the background is like a hot dog guy, some cars, a bum maybe, then starting like in the middle of the ski have like big buildings that go to almost the whole way up the tip

those are just some ideas i had when i was bored in study hall

All one color, with a small logo on the top and bottom. Also, the skiis should come with a stencil kit of all the ski companies. Something like that, cuz you would never have 2 skis that are the same. could work

Going off of what people said, the stencil idea would be sick. The ski would have to be a solid color, or very few colors. Armada already stuck that on the THPro, allowing the rider to show his own style. The camo is different, and different is tight! I still think the ski's graphics should be influenced by the individual rider.

i'd say stay away from the typical trend that is going to consume ski designs for at least the next two seasons (the one line started): logo at the tips, split picture design at the tails. the shark one looks clean, but its extremely generic. switch it up and come up with something new.

this was my first idea, except this stuff that i drew should be on the right side of the ski, and should be sitting on a wood print (like a desk), and the rest should be like a room, mostly a solid color or something, maybe posters..i donno

I want the fist of fury on my skis. that's just a rough idea, my first try at digital art so it kind of sucks, but just the fist would be sick, because the guy is kind of a douche. a black ski, with the hand outlined in white and FURY writtin in red on the knuckles. but that's just my idea of cool, because I am all about the fist of fury.
