I don't know about most that article however I believe drinking red wine will help you live longer, not so much beer.

i cannot trust a scientific paper that has not found out what the reasons behind their results are....

The 1,824 participants were followed for 20 years. One drawback of the sample: a disproportionate number, 63%, were men. Just over 69% of the never-drinkers died during the 20 years, 60% of the heavy drinkers died and only 41% of moderate drinkers died."

they were already going to die in 20 years anyway...

You don't need a degree to be educated, I had a friend who died from liver cirrhosis so I know first hand the outcome of drinking constantly.

i think thats bullshit because i've had a close family member literally drink until their liver and kidneys failed which lead to death.

everyone here saying it is bullshit because they know someone who drank too much and died needs to slow down.

the studies advocate a drink or two a day not the 10+ a day that an alcoholic probably consumes. there is a large difference between heavy drinking and 1-2 a day. Most people who drink don't drink 1-2 a day they binge. binge drinking is totally different and has been shown to be detrimental to your health.
