Right Back Where We Started... a little disappointed

so after all the hype and the problems with the premiere and the release on vimeo delayed i was really looking forward to seeing the jiberish movie and thought it was gonna be sick, however it did not live up to my expectations. There were parts that were pretty sick and i enjoyed hornbeck's part but as for the entire movie it felt like an edit if that makes sense and it was free so i shouldnt complain but thats what i thought about it. So newschoolers did it live up to or exceed your expectations or was it a bit of a letdown?

I think the fact that it felt like an edit is perfect. I think thats what they were going for. I on the other hand think that its phenomenal and really really fun to watch. Its obviously not some super high budget film with helicopter shots and shit, but its extremely fun to watch.

Couldn't agree more.  I love it and I felt like it was relate-able.   That is the best team in the industry and it really isn't even close.

The vibe is timeless and I will be watching that for years to come.  Such a sick movie and it was dripping with steeze.

it was a sick movie no doubt... ill take a free flick liek that any day! it wouldve been perfect if i liked the music in it better but theres no doubt in my mind, i loved that movie

It was so hyped because of all the stupid little kids exploding with excitement and couldn't wait for 10 minutes, again they ruined it, and made it seem like it was gonna the best thing ever created.

The movie was good, so your opinion on this one is unnecessary

its always good to share your opinion but you dont have to start a whole thread for it, but you do have to remember its free and they did this just for our entertainment and maybe this will lead to one every year which would be cool, mine is loading right now have been wanting to see it.

First-Free Movie=No complaints

Second thought the movie overall was dope.  Liked Hornbecks parts the most but liked Vanulars shots as well.  Appreciated the music and having the variation and flow of sports throughout the movie.  Only real beef I have with the movie were the recycled shots of Cosco and Harlaut from Joss wish they both would have had original segments for the movie.  But other than that it was Hottt Firrreeee Pon Da River

I thought is was just a nice, low key kind of film; it did feel a little like an edit, but I liked that. I liked the music too, I love hiphop but I liked that it wasn't a massively hood soundtrack. And the skateboarding was fun. It was good.

I don't know what you're talking about, I loved it. Great flow throughout the movie, the segments, shots, music. etc. all fit together beautifully and the riding was next level. Oh and it was free. I really don't think you have anything to be disappointed about.

Its free so you cant really complain. I thought it was sickk awesome skiing awesome style. Yea i like people talking and giving a background on whats going on and stuff, probably why i love traveling circus, but this was amazing in its own right.

HEY GUIZE, I FOUND THAT THE FREE MOVIE WHICH JUST GOT DROPPED WAS DISAPPOINTING. I REALLY WANTED TOM WALLISCH TO WEAR RED PANTS, BUT HE WAS WEARING YELLOW ONES WHICH I DON'T LIKE. ALSO THEY DIDN'T STREAM IT PERFECTLY. WHY CAN'T NS'S MASSIVE IT TEAM GET THIS SORTED? ALSO I HATE THAT THEY ONLY MADE ONE APOLOGY THREAD. THEY SHOULD MAKE ONE MILLION APOLOGY THREADS BECAUSE OF THE DISTRESS THEY CAUSED ME. THEY SHOULD AT LEAST GIVE US ALL THE FREE JIBERISH HOOIES.

nobody ever said anyone had to read the hype threads, or even acknowledge any of the hype that was made, dont blame other people for your own disappointment, you bought into the hype and were upset by the result.

sorry i dont mean to direct this at you specifically, i am just tired of people say that they were disappointed because someone else overhyped something, nobody knew any more about the movie than anybody else (obviously aside from the riders,filmers,etc)

I thought it was super dope the only thing i would have changed would be to add some more urban and backounntry shots and that was the first time this whole season that I thought toms style was as good as it was before.
