what do you guys do with the draw string thing? someone said to tuck it under the strap but it always falls out and starts dangling around. idk, little shit like this really pisses me off i guess. thanks for your help, +k for help -k for hate

this guys got it right. On the liner theres a slot for it right above the plastic on the boot. you slid eit inbetween the liner and the plastic, on the right boot it's on the right side, and vice versa

Your problem is that you don't have Intuition Liners - the only thing that can turn a mediocre SPK into an awesome SPK.

really? one of mine snapped(after 3 years) so i just cut them both off. i personally like the boot better now. probably just me though

I put it just to the side of the tounge and there's actually a small blank space there where it fits really good, and usually holds it in place very nice.
The draw strings are imo nice, they keep the preassure of the whole boot where it should be!

Imagine on your SPK Pro liner there are only about 3 moldable zones: part of the tongue, part of the ankle pocket, part of the mid-foot. Plus there isn't a lot of closed-cell foam in most liners (one of the reasons why "ski boots are cold").

An Intuition liner is "completely" molded to your foot, ankle, shin, calf, and shell of the boot. Plus there is closed cell (and open cell too) surrounding your entire foot, which makes them mega warm.

In short, Intuition liners are very customized and very warm.

I have the old yellow and black spk kreations and they didn't even come with that drawstring.  Same shell and all, it's just a regular liner. I really like them, they seem to work just fine.

They're great, but if you've got bigger underlying foot issues that exceed what the liner can conform to (such as in the case of Scott, and his enduring boot legacy), not going to fix much. That being said, they almost always help 'something'.

Lol. I have not heard of this 'enduring boot legacy'. Got bootfitter(s)?

So far, I've been able to fit the most random boot shells to my feet. the boots I'm in right now have no business being on my feet, but they work great. Even better once I threw intuitions in them.

Scott has put in over 30 hours of bootfitting at various shops around the PNW in the last two seasons (we didnt ski last season, so two seasons). He's had the worst feet + ski boot combo I've ever seen, but we've got the best guy in Oregon workin on him now.

I just got SPK Pro's from my shop because they said it would fit my feet but I feel like they will become too wide as I break them in.  So later in the season when my SPK liners become really uncomfortable, I could just get Intuition liners and stick them inside the SPK Pro's (this is my first question)?  My feet also get cold really easily so the warmness of the intuition liner would be great.  (Second question), which intuition liner would be best for all mountain riding, the Alpine one?  Last question: is there anywhere I can get them for cheaper than on the intuitionliners.com website?

1st, yes you could, I think the spk's sizes this years run big. Maybe not, I really like the wide toe box's
oh and you wear a ski sock right? Go and get your ski boots heat molded to.
2nd, I'm pretty sure on off the guys above^ said that there's like a freeride/ freestyle one you can get. I checked out there website and the had like 10 different kinds. There mad expensive tho at $180 for the freestyle.
3rd, search bar lol google shoping is what I use.

Thanks for the help.  Yeah I use a ski sock and I didn't feel like searchbarring because I wasn't making a thread.  I looked it up on Google Shopping but it was all this other stuff.  I'll probably buy it off their website if my boot starts hurting my feet.  I just found their website and the Freeride one seems to be what I'm looking for, I like a stiffer flex.

I use the racing or booster strap, I wrap the cord around the strap before i tighten er down

If you buy them online, be prepared to spend some $$$ in a shop to have them heat molded to your foot. Usually if you buy them from a shop the fitting is included. Check with your local shop to see what they will do for you, might be well worth it.

This, I have no clue why that kid up there who  hasn't ever used a pair is giving advice on the subject.  Get them in a shop and save $60 on a fitting/molding.  And the liners are not at all that expensive when you consider what they do for you.  It feels like you got brand new boots, and since you can keep molding them over and over you can get new boots every year for about $40-60 (cheaper if you bring a 12 pack of beer to your shop rats).

If you have the SPK Pros's in a 27.5, which intuition liner would fit best, the 27.5? not sure if they run big or whatnot...

Second, Which type of liner would work the best for freestyle and park? Obviously the freeride looks like one of the best choices but also the power wrap plug looks nice, especially for resdistributing pressure built up by the two buckle system on the spk

Without seeing your foot, I would probably advise against the plug liner as it is designed for a very narrow boot- unless you have a huge foot, it will probably just shift around in the wide SPK shell. I might suggest something on the thicker side, like the regular Powerwrap which besides being thicker has a really good heel/ankle pocket. But you should really take your foot and your boot to a shop so they can check these sort of things.
