If no freeskiing, would you snowboard?

So I was just thinking, how passionate and die-hard are you about being on skis? Having two boards under your feet? Hypothetically, if you had to give up freeskiing and could only ski like the average joe, going down the same old groomed slopes all day, would you choose that over being a able to rock out on a snowboard in park, big mountain, ect...? Just curious.
