Skateboard on Delta Airlines!

I'm going to Utah this Saturday and want to know if I can bring my skateboard on the plane or Check it in?
Has anyone travel with a skateboard on Delta lately?

Skateboards are fine as carry ons at any airport except for Napoli, Italy, and London, England and any airline is fine.

Its not fine and I check delta website about skateboards and it says i have to check it. I also called delta and a woman said i have to check it.
