Vimeo question

Whats uo guys i finally made an acount after a year of lurkin around..,
anyways im wondering why my vids arent showing up as HD on vimeo. I shot the last 2 with a T1i and edited on iMovie, then shared to iTunes and then uploaded to vimeo. any input as to why this is happening?

It's because they're 960x540, 1280x720 is 720p which is the lowest HD resoultion. You need to export HD from imovie.

How would i go about doing that? iMovie only gives me the option to export at a max of 960x540. thanks

I guess a way of doing it would be to.

1.Export out full quality.
2.Import footage into a compresser (MPEGstreamclip).
3.Then export/compress as a 1280x720 file.

Should work........

so pretty much there's no way to get an HD movie out of imovie even if im shooting in 720p? (without going thru complicated steps?). It shows me i can import in 1080 but then there would be degraded video playback, so if i chose 540 im pretty much stuck huh?
