what more do I need to know? I know its bamboo and has a very responsive but a mid stiffness to it. Also if he wants to know more he can pm ginko or iggyskier and I am sure they would be more than happy to help.

what is your problem? All you do is hate on people constantly. besides some slight changes in stiffness MAYBE, they aren't changing anything about that ski. get over yourself.



Also check out the scott punisher 191 if you don't do much powder, a 186 jeronimo, 189 kung fujas, or atomic coax

If you've skied the Caylor and Jeronimo, the Jeffrey wont be too surprising.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I do sorta side with Spence actually. It can be annoying when you're trying to get good advice/reviews, only to realize that the people talking are just repeating information they heard secondhand. Its easy to single out the Jeffrey suggestion, sure, but same could be said for a lot of the ski advice that gets posted around here. Most of the posts here are "get XXX, its the only ski I've ever ridden, so it must be the best!", so who gives a fuck anyways.

I do think it would be a ski that could work out well for the guy who originally asked, but same can be said for a ton of other skis if we're just looking for "could work".

This section is Gear Talk, not Honest To God The Best Ski Advice You Can Find Anywhere. I'd honestly hope people take everything they read on NS with a grain of salt. Even if this forum doles out terrible 'advice', it at least can introduce you to new gear and other options.

alright GT help me out. So i just got my new double times mounted with my old Look PX Jib 12's beginning of the summer (dumb idea shoulda waited for new bindings) and I ripped out the heel piece on one of them skiing at hood.
Should I

a.) buy new screws (old ones were rusty and shit) and just use some wood-glue (or any better ideas you have) and use the same holes and just remount the heel piece?

b.)wait and buy new bindings and just remount all together.

the thing is I want them to stay center mounted.. If I bought new bindings i would l get either fks's or look pivots, so in that case would I be able to use the same holes for the toe pieces and drill new ones for the heels?

any and all advice is welcome, thanks!

Thanks for your input, and most of the time I won't. I'm going to make it like a windbreaking vest, with a little insulation for when I feel like changing it up. But I'm not asking for whether or not I should make it, just what colour.

I came to that exact same conclusion last year, wearing my 10k blugoo over 20k saga is was stupid. However, my 08/09 saga is 10k, not 20k. But thank you very much for your input, purple would be pretty sweet..

i always thought that taped seams were made of additional fabric heat bonded on top of the seam. i didnt think it has to do with adhesives so i would assume very difficult and actually require some machining. but i have no clue (:

i tried them on and i found a size that fits in my shop but they only had the 2011 ones which were too much $$$ so im assuming these (the 2010 model) are the same boot and im gonna get these. are they the same fit?

We cant answer that question. You have to research them. We have no idea what type of skier you are. If anyone could answer you, you would need to provide a lot more information.
