Haha wow are you in denial or something?  184 Step-Ups would be a way better choice.  He's 6'5", 190... Even if he liked softer skis, he'd probably destroy Afterbangs.  It does depend on personal preference, but he's pretty skinny so he'll probably want something stiffer because he'll probably gain some weight at that height.  If the Fujas comes in a 189, that'd be a perfect choice IMO.  I didn't say it in my last post, but I wasn't really thinking.  They are wide, but you're pretty big so you'd probably like the wide platform for landing jumps.  And they're really durable.

I kinda liked them... It's all really an opinion though.  They would be great for him if he liked them because they're a bit over 189 cm long and he's 195 cm or so.

Cheers guys, length is pretty shitty for us tall guys. Walls would be good pretty ££, but will check it out! I can get last years anthems cheap, it's just the 178cm putting me off :(

Hey, this is like my millionth post about pretty much the same question but not sure about this: I'm 6"1 and 145lb, would a 167cm ski be too short for me if I was only gunna use it for jibbing/urban, like literally im only gunna be using it at indoor places and urban rails once it snows...Will it be ok? (the ski is a line chronic wide from 06)

for urban, i'd say go for it. you dont really need a long ski for situations like that. however, if i were to ski on any "real" snow, i would say hell no. thats a really short ski for 6'1"

have you ever seen snowblades?

of course you can use it for jibbing. i couldn't get new skis last season, so i used 165 troublemakers for half of the season(until they were stolen..) i am pretty much exactly your size. i wouldn't reccomend it, particularly, but you could definitely take them for a few days on the hill.

I just bought a pair of 2008 183 watchlifes. I'm having a bit of buyers remorse because I'm afraid that they will be too long. I'm 5'9" with all my gear on and still growing. I'll be using these 20% park 80% allmountain.

the mounting position will not change the composition of the ski.
but yes, it would probably make it preform like a more park-oriented ski.

kk one more really dumb question

when i try to put a big sticker on my helmet, its ALWAYS uneven and like wavy at the side
kinda hard to explain but is there like a certain trick to apply bigger stickers?

Apparently using a hair dryer and just blasting it smooths it out, my mate did that and it worked out pretty well, give that a shot.

Does anyone know the sizing for the Westbeach Tall jacket? It says on the site that it's a "banger fit" but in the size guide says the banger fit has longer sleeves than jacket length, which clearly does not apply to the tall jacket.

Quick question for those who work in ski shops. How long does it take usually for a pair of skis to get mounted at this time of year? Just curious to know because I took my skis into the shop last thursday so that when my bindings come in, they can be ready to get mounted. My bindings came in the next day and so I am just curious to know how long the process of mounting skis would take.

ok i know this thread has probably been made before but the searchbar comes up with way to many results. Ok so i ripped the back binding out of my ski last saturday and i want to try and ski, say i have axcess to all the tools needed, could i bet this binding back on without having to move the mounts on my skis. Oh and i dont need this to last long just maybe a couple weeks of east coast pre season mt snow trips.

I'd like to get some advice on what size domain I should buy. I'm 5'10 and 130lbs, I ride mostly rails as i live on the east coast. With the early rise would the 179s be to big for me to handle? I feel like the 169s might be too small?
I'm basically done growing.

even still i wouldn't suggest it, unless there is very little damage done to the ski.
just move the heel piece a bit on the track and remount.

i have to say 169cm
K2 is know for have longer measurements then described
anyways, east coast=rails (L) so yeah shorter skis would be easier to switch up and lighter

Thanks and yea 176 is the perfect size but i wish k2 had a 174 (measure up to about 177.)
I might go for halos in a 176, i want to get some early tapered skis. Reno jibs are also skis that I'm thinking about buying because they're symmetrical like my old invaders.
