Opinions on AR6/AR7

im considering getting the new and improved AR6; the AR7 for the upcoming season, after being dissapointed by all the dissatisfaction of performance for the suspects.

anything you could tell me about this ski, as in all mountain/park. good or bad would really be appreciated, thanks NS

ar6's are my favorite ski ever, i rode them for the past 3 seasons, and they have performed greatly, perfect for everything, pick up a pair you wont be dissapointed

Super durable, handles just about anything, pretty much my favorite ski ever. Excited to hopefully pick up some AR7's this year.

I have AR6 and rode them for two seasons and going for a third. Great skis, I would recommend them to almost anyone.

Not worthy of a thread. Do some research on your own!

But since you went to the trouble. I have had the '08 AR6's for 2 seasons and have absolutely loved them! They are so buttery, perfect for jibs and rails.. but they are also comfortable taking over some large kickers. I ski them in PNW pow (cause I'm poor) and they actually hold up fine for a park ski.

wait till people ride the ar7 to ask opinions. But from what i have herd the ar7 is not like the ar6 because it is rockered.

I guess I'll be the only one that wasn't the largest of fans. The AR6 had just too much flex for me, though I am 6'5 205 lbs.
The shovel was just a bit soft. But they do hold up great, and I haven't heard of anyone else NOT loving them, so I'm the odd man out.

499 is lowest you'll get on the ar7. However, here are some of 09/10 Armadas that are great price, and nice sizing.

^^ yea, if the ar7 were rockered I think the forums would be stacked with ridiculousness

not much to say until I can ride the ar7s ( going to purchase for sure ) but my ar6s have gone 200+ days strong, going for more.

If you're worried about them being too stiff, go for the thalls. You'll be more then happy with either ski though.

ive been riding AR6's since 06 and theyre hands down my favorite ski ever. its amazing everywhere, except deep pow but what do you expect. apparently the AR7 is better, which is good to hear because im gonna upgrade and at first i was scared of the semi-cap construction, but armadas are awesome so im gonna buy them still
