VT College Students: Triple Major Pass question

I'm not in school anymore, can't afford an $1800 season pass to Stowe (who the fuck can)... so what's the process for getting a Triple Major Pass? (Jay, MRG, Bolton). They're $289 which is ridiculous.
Below are what I believe to be my 2 options. Please criticize, add, or suggest better ideas if you have them.
OPTION 1: GET A FRIEND WHO'S STILL IN SCHOOL TO BUY THE PASS, THEN DRIVE HIM TO THE MTN & PAY HIM AFTER HE GETS HIS PHOTO TAKEN AND HAS THE PASS IN HAND. USE SAID PASS ALL SEASON, HOPING NONE OF THE LIFT OPS NOTICE ITS NOT ME.
OPTION 2, MOST LEGIT OF ALL: EMPLOY OPTION #1 FIRST, THEN TAKE THE PASS TO A PHOTOSHOP WIZARD AND GET IT TAILORED TO HAVE MY REAL NAME AND PICTURE ON IT].
Can anyone break down the steps you had to take to get one?
Did you get your photo taken AND pick up the pass on the same day?
I know they require a student ID and letter from the school registrar's office.

it sounds like it could be a more lucrative business then fake id's, just seel fake seasons passes that scan and everything for like half price hahahaha yeah $1800 is outrageous

dude, atleast at stowe and bolton they dont check photo ID's when you go. just get all the right information, their letter from the registrar, and go and say you are them. Get the picture taken with their name but your face. perfect way to do it.

Wiggin: I don't think MRG, Jay or Bolton have scanners. Just visual confirmation from the liftie if anything.
Bonzai: Someone else told me to do that, seems sketchy though ...if they do ask for photo ID I'd have a problem. One dude let his little brother use his season pass and Stowe arrested him for theft of services.

it would be easier to change a student id or transcript to say your still in school, at my mountain they asked for a print out of my class schedule and that was it, if your going to try and beat the system probably the best way, and ive had friends who have had there passes taken and kicked out of the resort for using a pass with someone else's picture.

Jay is implementing RFID tech into their lift systems, just a headsup.
Also, I know seasons passes are pricey, but scamming tickets is low and is theft no matter how you look at it. Pay to ski the big resorts, or buy seasons at smaller, less expensive mountains.

you don't have to get it all photoshopped unless its stowe. they'll actually get you into pretty serious shit for using a friend's pass and will ask you to take off your helmet and stuff if they don't think your face matches.
i know people that have made a business of producing fake triple majors and it worked but if Jay is getting smarter then maybe a fake isnt the way to go. bolton and MRG don;t really even check your pass anyway.
I would have someone buy it for you but then just go in and take the picture yourself. so it would be your pic but their name.... or get a job there. but i agree that its wayyyy too expensive.

Radio Frequency Identification. Scanners can detect your pass inside your jacket so that you never have to take it out of your wallet.

I agree it may be low to scam MRG, but corporate resorts like Stowe can quaff a hog. They want us to pay $89/day or $1800/year because they spent hundreds of millions on luxury condos? Fuck them. Skimming a few hundred bucks off their 9-figure balance sheet is a non-issue for me. Seeing as they're the riskiest to mess with I'm not even getting involved with that though.

Not sure your knowledge of shaping, but I'm fairly certain you can volunteer for park crew at Stowe once or twice a week and as payment, you receive a pass. I know a few of the guys on the crew had some sort of deal like that last season.

Yeah don't be an idiot with Stowe, I've seen them have kids take their helmets off many times and I'm sure it wouldn't end well. I agree with Dayzed and just volunteer a few days a week.

I skied MRG for eight years and got my pass checked TWICE IN EIGHT FUCKING YEARS! And even then all I had to do was show the chain and they said it was good. Mad River is a non prophet organization so they really only want to give die hard skiers a place to come.
Bolton on the other hand Does check your pass every so often. Just get a friend that looks similar to you, fill out the information at home and you can take the picture. It will work. They are cracking down a little bit but just enough so they catch people who don't have a pass. They don't look at your picture at all and the lifties are actually really nice if you're friendly to them.
