Best Moment of Your Summer.

The summer is almost over for all of us and soon school and ski season will pursue.

So Newschoolers, what was the best moment of your summer?

The best moment of my summer was when I was up at this lake in the mountains for 3 days and wakeboarded, cliff jumped and chilled with homies everyday all day and ran the boat around.  Learned a ton of new stuff wakeboarding and balled up and learned some new flips off of cliffs.

For me it has been collectively saving money and blowing it all on ski gear.

AND

Water ramps. I went for the first time a few weeks ago. SOOO damn fun.

Too many to pick one

Best Moment: i would have to say when i went to these bridges, learned bio 10 and various tricks off of a bridge, and grilled burgers, and hung out with a bunch of friends. Epic day

well i experienced my first double drunk day. Had like an afternoon beer pong session. came home, sobered up and ate dinner with the fam, then went back out and started drinking again.

but one of the better nights was when i was very drunk at this girls house, and the next thing i know, her brothers college friends are there with a bottle of capt. morgan and im drinking that now, and me and a friend are  telling the old girls (who we tried to hit on but got the cold shoulder from) that they must be retarded because they go to Syracuse and you have to be breathing to get into the school

Randomly, one day I was at our cottage with a friend and my younger brother we went out on the lake on the jet ski and took turns towing eachother on the knee board
First time i'd knee boarded in say 12 years? I guess it wasn't really a single moment as just a fun relaxing time and later on I successfully stood up on the kneeboard but then I got cocky and tried going outside the wake, fresh water enema...

My summer has been less than awesome cause i've been trying to do this "be an adult" thing and I really don't care for it.

But, the weekend of my birthday was pretty damn decent.

June 25-27th

Started out with a huge loft party with 2 of my best friends and and open bar. Woke up the next morning on my birthday and went to the opening day of Warped tour to work the women's skate competition. Did that then hung out with my friend Claudio who works for/with Motion City Soundtrack which was rad cause I haven't seen him in about 2 years. Then went home where my sister that I hadn't seen since Xmas came to see me. We then proceeded to go to the bar next door that only serves sausage and beer and I had dinner/drinks with my sister and other best friend and one of the ones from the night before. Went to bed... woke up, had breakfast with my sister then drove up to Mammoth and got drinks with more friends. Then went out with different friends. Went to bed, woke up and met up with my friend who proceeded to give me my birthday present which happened to be powder skis that he hand made for me and mounted touring bindings on. Then I went skiing on my awesome new skis. Took a nap and drove home.



Last saturday wasn't horrible... went to the opening of the US Surf open till 4, drove home, then went and watched the X games skate big air. Then went hand had delicious sandwiches.


Best Moment: Probably the epiphany I had at 2am the other morning when I couldn't sleep..... More to come on that later...

seeing my bf come through the airport at seatac and knowing we were just gonna have the best two weeks:
june 24 arrival
june 25 party in whistler
june 26/27 cabin
june 28 recover - dinner with mom and friends
june 29 fly to vancouver to stay in a hotel for two days
july 1 back to whis
july 4 independence day party back in vancouver
july 6 - :( he went home.

it has been a pretty sweet summer over all but those two weeks were fuckin amazing.

Today was delicious meat loaf sandwiches....

Tomorrow will be a turkey + Cheddar + tomatoes + pesto on a sourdough ciabatta.

I love sandwiches. They make my summer better.

Every year for the past 7 years i go for a week to switserland for some alpinism, this year i had a chance to plan and guide my trip completely on my own, i had some really great experiences such as approaching a very big mountain goat within 6ft, experiencing magical sunrises and sunsets almost every single day, sleeping on 3400m altitude on the glacier, seeing the most beautiful stars and 38!! falling stars in one night !, Doing a solo climb of 3hours and standing alone on a mountain top the size of a coffee table that was by far the highest one in the area, i met alot of new people and i guided my friends for a week and every single climb was a succes ....

that was such a good week, next year again!
and maybe in winter i'll do it again and bring my skis !!

I took some bomb ass L and went on this party bus with 25 other spun out kids on Saturday night which pretty much was the most amazing thing i have ever been a part of. It wasnt my first time dropping L, but there were skydivers falling out of the sky and at first i thought they were meteors but then realized it was people with jet packs on their backs with parachutes flying down as they were jamming out to Desert Dawn, which i was certain that they were playing the music to the swirls that the skydivers were making. It was ammmaaaaazzziiingg!!!!! I went on sunday too cause it was just too awesome. If I had money I would have tried to go to Hornings Hideout this past weekend but it just didnt work out.

Yeah if you ever get a chance go to a cheese show if you haven't already its quite an experience I would recommend it. They are definitely one of the best live bands I have ever seen.

that sounds totally insanee... my best moment was when my best friend came and visited (I get to see him once a year) and we went to a jack johnson and we had amazing seats dead center and the next morning we got up super early and got to watch the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen.

With out a doubt the weekend of the fourth of July. Prettymuch was shitfaced from Friday to Monday morning. Saturday morning I woke up outside this kids house on his patio. Sunday morning I woke up in a tent in a barn(lolque?) and Monday morning I woke up in this kids basement on a couch soaking wet. It was pretty fun.
