I personally think people were getting too worked up about that to begin with. If you dont want to do it, then dont fucking do it. At least right now its optional at airports. And i dont see what the big deal is. If your a dude, you have a dick. If your a girl, you have boobs and a vagina. Its not like you would be letting some big secret out of the bag. unless you were actually a tranny, in which case its still just a dick or a vagina. I actually think they are awesome. I wanted to go through the one in SLC but my friends and i accidentally went to the wrong security place and didnt feel like walking to it.

In my opinion, this is too much security to prevent something that happens too little to warrant it. What are they looking for that can't be found visually, with a metal detector, a thorough pat down or any of those means? A bomb taped to your anus?

Again, nobody is being forced to do anything in the vast majority of these cases, with the exception of maybe the courthouse thing, but im not sure what the deal is with that. as far as the ones in airports go, that people are mainly bitching about, its optional. Therefor, no rights are being broken. I mean, holy shit.

As for hickles asking if we would care if thousands of people saw us naked online, i in all honestly wouldnt give a fuck. At the end of the day, i have a dick. Its just a dick. 3 billion other people have one just like it, and the 3 billion that dont, they will pretty much all come into contact with one just like it at some point in their lives. Again i say, holy shit.

At the risk of sounding like an exhibitionist, which im not, i think its fucked up how the human body has become so taboo in our culture. Body parts are natural and i dont understand why they have to be seen as dirty, or something that creates controversy. I mean, they can show tons of people getting murdered in a movie and get away with PG-13. Show some exposed breasts though, and it gets slapped with an R. I'm 18 so that doesnt affect me either way, im just saying i think its retarded. Same thing with TV. You can show some pretty fucked up shit on tv. But show a tit or a wang, and the FCC will fuck you in the ass.

Im not saying everyone should run around naked, and there is something to be said for some modesty. But there is a time and a place for everything and people just need to loosen up a little. One more for road:

It's optional for the time being, they're going to wait till people get used to the idea and then surely make it mandatory unless you have a serious condition that makes it so you can't go in.

This has nothing to do with not wanting people to see me naked and everything to do with feeling secure in my own person. First airports, then trains,schools, malls, it's bullshit. What if I want to carry a little weed on me?

This is obviously not just to stop terrorism either. Terrorism would hardly exist if it wasn't for the "war on terror" which is a never ending semi-virtual war with no real beginning or end and no specific enemy. It is a war being made to keep out populace scared and open to constant breaches of our constitutional rights.

Truth.

It's all about acclimation.  To make us see things progressively get worse and the majority of the people will just go "fuck it.  i'll let them search my asshole if it keeps me safe from terrrrrsts at night."

I find this alarming how many people don't think this is a big deal.  It's not about thinking the naked body is some sacred thing that no one should see.  It's about the people in power doing a tap dance all over our constitutional rights.
