pollard zero spins chads

I heard from some guys at the glacier shgop in whistler that pollard zeroed chad's gap. I Shtis true? IF it si that would be so frickin sick.
(trust me, the '' things aren't actually there)

first off, the wsk guys didn't hit chads at its biggest point. they took it over to the left, so the wall wasn't as high. pollard tried to 180 it but died. the others killed it though, but again it wasn't as big as when candide and sage ect have done it.

and yes some snowboarders did hit it, and yes they did fuck up the landing. it was travis rice and romain . they however took it to its biggest point. I guess travis destroyed it, but romain didn't do as well. he hit the wall a couple of times. they had a helli up there filming. it was absinthe film shooting it.

oh and when you see footie of chads you will notice a bunch of trees around it and you can see more down the canyon typicly, and on pyramid there are almost no trees around it and the inrun is much less gnar.

they did it so no other filming companies could film there, and do chads, atleast I think so anyway, they are afraid they will get shown up, and they have big vaginas stuck on thier faces!

Some of you should learn to keep your mouths shut, instead of spreading bullshit rumors. I believe the reason they salted it was because it was 50+ degrees here in Utah for the past few months, and when its that warm in the mountains you have to get the inrun to firm up somehow, esp when its a 100 something ft gap you need to clear. And I dont think anyone can talk shit after what Travis Rice threw down that day...

I can't claim to have seen it, but reliable sources say he landed everything he threw, and if you have ever seen a vidoe part of him, that should explain. About a week before some friends and I ran into the absinthe crew on pyramid, lets these guys are looney...

if he salted the inrun to firm it up so he can kill it then thats rad. if he salted it up after he killed it so other riders couldnt hit it then i stand by what i said before.

^a few of my friends were hitting pyrmaid that same day and saw them, and another friend of mine is a intern at powder-bird the heli ski guide company at alta/bird and said he saw them to! a shit load of people at the rustler lodge said they saw them do it to, and you could tell from the wildcat lift at alta that chads had been fucked with, cuz it was dirt landing, and pyrmaid was fine!

Candide's D-Spin 7 was pretty ugly,though. What I've read from here,Travis Rice has said it in an interview by Snowboarder Magazine that he did salt the landing so nobody else could hit that shit,like if they find a perfect rail for a movie,they like chain it up or put stoppers in etc. to prevent some other company from jibbing it better than they already did.

in TWS travis said that they tore the jump down so no idiots would hit i and get hurt, also because they worked on the jump for 3 days and they didn't want a some fucker not doing any work and then getting to hit they're booter. Shit, when we build booters if you don't help, you don't hit it. but he did kill it. first hit he did a 200ft bs 3 then did a switch cork 5. And sorry if my stance is going against what you think is right, but TR would have to kill someone for me to not take his side on an issue.

mike-o, i have that magazine sitting in my lap right now and that is definatly not what he said. he and romain de marche tore down the jump because another crew of filmers wanted to hit it. apparently this crew just watched them build it and i guess were gonna pull a little red hen and use it when travis and romain were done. the other, and almost for surely bullshit reason they tore it down was for 'safety.' they didnt want kids or inexperienced riders hitting it.

i know they spent 3 days building it, but the SALTED THE LANDING! so it doesnt matter how long now to build it up, you can build for a week and it still wouldnt be hittable. they shoulda just destroyed the jump and the run-in. not the fuckin landing.
