Dont wonna boast but I cant help it. Spent three days in saas fee which was good as it snowed about a foot. Park there is good but they never groom it. Then i went to Laax which was the shit. Its like the snowboard capital of europe of sumthing. It was the last week of the season and they had this spring session thing on. Music going on all day and filmers and photographers every where. Park and pipe was groomed every day. They had kink boxes, rainbows, trapazoid, wallride tables everything. There was some skier doin switch misty nines and shit. Ill try and shut up now but its hard because it was the best week of my life. learnt new tricks aswell. If you go to europe go to Laax...its the best.

I Avoriaz still good man? Its pretty low eh. Still good snow?
It is the shizzle though, had a sick week there in Jan.
And you can ski to Les Crosets, the illest park in Europe. For kickers definitely, maybe not for jibs.

Aiguille du Midi is in so many of the old Warren Miller films. I bet you were just dying to ski down the Vallee Blanche dude. Must have killed you not to be able to.

I was in Saas this January, where did you ride? Hit the yellow runs through the trees on platjen? The cliff under the gondola up platjen (blue gondola) close to the top is sweet. The park wasn't built when I was there in January but last time I was there in April it had overhanging ice walls :S and I've never seen any rails in Saas? Glad to hear you had a good time.

yea to get from the top to the bottom of the mountain (in austria) on some mountains it would take like an hour of non stop skiing at least

Saas is pretty limited, with hardly any off piste in Fee due to the glacier. Grund has some off piste through the trees, mostly pretty flat but with some steep sections and drops. Platjen is the only place for off piste on Fee mountain, but it's got good tree skiing, and taking a run through the boulder field is crazy fun, lots of drops and jibs. Some good long mogul runs up langfluh and speilboden as well. It's an alright mountain, but i'm coming to cali this winter.
