Deadmau5 doesn't do recreational drugs, so that rules out the OD. He probably just had a few crossed wires from all the crazy effects and exhaustion.

how do you know that? how does anyone other then the people closest to him know that? it could very well be an OD, and i could be that he didnt eat/drink enough that day or had been up for like 3 days straight

Where'd you hear this? Not sayin it's wrong, just never heard it before.

My first guess would be OD of some sort, but who knows, could just been dehydration or heat exhaustion very easily.

Joel is a pretty mellow guy, I'm sure he's done that stuff at some point, but he definitely doesn't do it on the reg. I talked to him right before he went on stage when I saw him a couple of weeks ago, and he was definitely sober

^this. I used to jam with a guy that was a heroin addict. Amazing guitarist, but a heroin addict. Swore he was clean, even though i obviously knew. He had a retreat for recovering addicts to help them get sober while he was still using.

Word. Especially in the electronic scene. I mean, that shit is VERY illegal. Its kind of a don't ask don't tell with everyone (artists, promoters, fans, etc...) everyone knows, but no one wants to say that shit publicly.

i just cant see any of these guys(that make electronic/dubstep) not rollin when they are on stage, i mean everyone that goes to their concerts is, it only seems plausible that they would be rollin too

You could be right. But keep in mind that unlike sports industries, nobody in the music industry gives a fuck if you do drugs (except Disney and its analogous). He has no motive to keep a sober public image, unless he's a pussy (which I doubt he is).

I sorta feel like rusko was just pissed cause he wasn't on the main stage. do you really think he would do that and do you really think security would care?

But yeah, I heard that too from people that went to global. If its true its gay, but Rusko shouldnt have really called him out like that.
