   alright guys. this year i decided its time to let my salmon spks go and get some new skis. i really want a rockered park ski. i do 90% rails/boxs 10% jumps. so far these are the skis that i have been re-searching on.

   surface nine life

   surface one life

   moment rockers (cant find anywhere that have them in stock though)

   armada alpha 1

   on3p blue steele

these are the guys that i have been thinking about... i would like to know your opinions on them and what would be best for me. i also want to be able to ride some trails but i can mannage with a pure park ski. if you guys have any other suggestions on rockered park skis hit me up! im open to all.

i use to have an account i just never came much after a while so i forget the name and username -.- :P and i know what forums are like for biking or skiing there always laods of threads of ppl asking what to buy... anyways who cares what the title is.. you can either help me and give your input or not.

i was also checking out surface new lifes but im not sure which to choose out of all these skis.

sorry to be a dick about it man. theres a lot of troll threads going on these days and its really annoying. i have never ridden any of those, so i can't really give you too much help. eventually flashkick101 might post in here and help you out though

ON3P is legit.  I've never ridden the Blue Steele's but mrstskier's review on them makes me want to buy them.

i just ordered blue steeles last night and if you order them today you get the $150 presale discount, which is what I would recomend. The Moments would also probably be a great choice from what I've heard although I've never ridden them. I only saw one pair of skis break all last season and it was a pair of nine lifes, and lots of people seem to have durability issues with them, although lots of people also seem to really like them. The one lifes really aren't a park ski at all so I wouldn't recommend those. I like all the armada skis i've ever ridden although i've never tried the Alpha 1's.

in order of preference:

1) on3p blue steeles
2) moment rockers
3) armada alpha 1's (really only behind the moments because it isn't symmetrical)
4) surface one lifes
5) surface nine lifes

ok so i think i have taken of surface off the list. im really liking the what isee about the moment rockers but i cant find anywhere online that i can buy the 2010s every site i look at they are out of stock.. anybody know where they have some left???!!! and/or the 2011 will be able to order online or will they get sold out to quickly also.

are the blue steeles symetrical? they seem really interesting too!

alphas also im liking them they look really good and i can get on ebay for like 400-450

would the marker griffon binding with 110mm brakes fit good on the alpha 1 skis? thanks a lot

also anybody know where moment rockers are available to order online.

NO! do NOT use 110 mm brakes. (that was not intended to be rude, im just stressing to not do that)

My friend had no choice but to put on 110mm brakes on his and they stick out over the ski. Anytime he sets an edge to turn the brakes catch and bend. Get 90mm brake.

And i just pre ordered some blue steeles, so obviously my vote goes to them no doubt. Medium to soft ski, symmetrical dimensions and flex, bamboo core, super thick edges, camber with rocker, fast/durable race base. Do it! (You would want 90mm on blue steeles as well)

ok well its between the alphas   rockers    or   blue steeles

dam cause i saw marker griffon binding on ebay for 235 new with free shipping to canada but they come with 110 brakes... is it expensive to swap them out for 90mm brakes

what are some other good bindings that have 90mm brakes

 already on.

care to show me any of thse better and cheaper bindings? 

and yeah piiggly but they all seem to be in the states so that makes it a lot more with shipping fees and duty fees..

the more and more i keep looking at the blue steeles its making me want to order them right now!

Head Mojo 15s you can easily find for cheaper and a way better binding.  You can probably find FKS 120s or Pivot 12s for cheaper, but they are sold out at a lot of places.  If you're going to spend 200 something dollars on bindings, get the FKS 140s or Pivot 14s, way better binding than the Griffons.

i think i am going to order 181 blue steeles tomoro as the presale extended one week so i could still get them for 450!

ill do some searching around on bindings still got long time till snow comes anyways!.

Fantastic choice! From what im hearing about them, you wont be disappointed!

I just pm'd you a link for a greatly priced pair of look pivot 14's. They are the same binding as the fks 140, which is known as one of the best bindings of all time.

thanks for all your help guys and piggly ill go check those out.. and the other guy with the fks 155 i cant find them... and what company is fks i try to search it on ebay and didnt find anything. just curious are they pivotal also?

thanks for the link to the fks 140s they seem cheap enough ill really consider it. i was just wondering if pivotal bindings are better for park and such? i do purly rails.. barly any jumps.

so they are a much better binding then the griffons? what about in weight?

Such a sick setup.  I've got 181 Jeronimos with Head Mojo 15s.  I'm considering getting something like what you have next season or the season after.
