Help with my tee shots.

Now, I dont play too much golf so maybe you guys can help me out. Sometimes when I tee off, I will have this fucking beautiful shot, except for the fact it slices right about 300 yards. How do I fix this to keep my ball going straight down the fairway?

I used to lose the ball right quite a lot on my tee shots.

Firstly, youre probably swinging too hard and too fast... slow everything down. Count to 3 in your swing... 1 = takeaway, 2 = top of backswing, 3 = follow through.

Second, make sure you dont come over the top on your downswing. You want your swing to be inside-out. Try and think about hitting the inside half of the ball, and swing out to 1 or 2 o'clock.

Third, try not to fall off the ball. Stay down and over the ball through the swing. Try and engage your abs and feel your torso over the ball, rather than standing up to straight.

1. grip up on the grip so your club face is turned. this will feel weird at first.
2. stand far away from the ball so u have to reach for it.

and the other stuff that was mentioned above.

Before anything, try to just choke up on the club a little to add some control.

Dem hips. If your hips open well before the club is on its way down your face sits wide open and you create a monster of a slice.

1. get to the top of your swing.
2. drop that right elbow (guessing your right handed) into your pocket
3. power through that sucker for those who claim don't swing hard with a driver you're an idiot. There is no benefit of a driver other than insane distance. If you want control off the tee hit a 3W you wimps
