I think the age old question of Men vs. Women is flawed. Any woman worth her salt is respected in the world of business and everywhere else, just like any man who shows competence in women's fields is given respect by women. The problem is that women have been raised to be manipulative, submissive and inferior creatures by their parents. Every time you see a 4 year old girl in a barbie shirt and crocs with a bratz doll in her hand, you know she was conditoned by society to be that way. There are few women who actually break out of that brainwashing and form individual identities, and they are always respected. Who's the CEO of Pepsi right now? A woman. Who's at the top of the Fashion world right now? A man.
I think that in terms of day to day activities, Women get off easier than men. Women are not asked to do lifting, too much work, or to be anything other than good looking in our society. Men are left to provide. I know this sounds fucked up (and i hope you women break out of this cycle), but its true. Women don't have to do shit to get by. That's why when they try, sometimes guys get pissed because it's like having your cake and eating it too. In the big picture, I think guys have it harder, at least, until we change the way we do things. We should all try and push towards a gender neutral society if we want equality with the sexes, instead of the nuclear ideal we have now.
