No you are wrong... coming from someone who has done both skateboarding is MUCH MUCH harder. Seriously try them both you will become good at rollerblading 10x faster than skating.

I think it all depends on what is considered "good" because I'm pretty sure very hard blading tricks would take the same amount of time to learn as very hard skateboarding tricks.

Wrong, you're strapped in on rollerblades and are not on a skateboard. I can't believe this is an argument. Skateboarding has such rich culture and is so inexpensive that it would be a shame NOT to pick up skateboarding. Rollerblading evolved from rollerskates which were used to prance around gayley in a colorful tuxedo around a roller rink.

What's the worst part about rollerblading? Telling your parents that you're gay.

Personally I think that inline skating looks funny. Go ski. Skateboarding just has so much more flow and there is much more possiblity for creative-ness. Just look at some of Louie Barletta's tricks in the enji edit or check out his full video part. Innovative stuff. That being said i respect rollerbladers because the shit they do is insane. It hey only put that much effort into skateboarding...

i agree but skateboarding can be diffucult wit all the flip tricks and stuff like that. but inlining it is a step up with bigger tricks bigger air

all these inline videos are soooooo wack... they're completely different so you can't compare, but skateboarding is so much more interesting to watch and is fun to do if you really get into it. if you disagree, its probably because you've never seen a real skateboard video and/or you've been rollerblading/inling w/e the fuck u call it for too long. watch a video like mind field, mosaic, forecast, yeah right, this is skateboarding, any of flip's sorry videos, there's no comparison

skateboarding is by far more technical than inline.

ya inline can do backflips and shit. its attached to your feet. of course inverts, spins are gonna be easier

i skated as a kid (like 6 yrs old) and got to the point where i could like drop in to 10 foot halfpipes and stuff but i couldnt learn to ollie and i started froot booting... froot booting is hated on because the sport is based on technicality. for example people have been doing double viking flips (kangaroo flip kinda thing) in pipe for like 10 years and they are now working on doing like 10 switchups on a flat down flat down flat down flat down flat down flat down flat. skateboarding is based on style and whatnot. (there still is people like rodney mullen doing 540 flip to capsper to backflip out, but thats besides the point) skateboarders try and try and crash and crash, then they get banger footy after like 10 tries while froot booters stomp everything first t every time. this fuels lots of hate because us booters "barely have to try" i would have to agree that skateboarding is harder and cooler as i ride along doing my 500 switchups on my froot boots :)

basically, coming from a froot booter, i say skating is harder and cooler to do. if you arent down with spending most of your time crashing, then froot boot ftw

I was just trying to give different aspects of inlining. I was trying to make them different. I skateboard and inline. I like inlining because it simulates skiing really well and skiing is the most enjoyable thing in the world
