Gopro Battery Charger

Hey,

I bought a Gopro cam last week and I want toknow how you charge your camera.

Always plug the cam in a computer is not very pratical.
So the idea to take my apple iphone charger to charge my cam came to me.

But, is it dangerous?
The power is maybe not the same and I don't want to burn my battery.
And I don't really want to buy the specific charger for the cam sold by GOPro.

What about you guys, how do you charge your cam, except with a computer?

Probably not a good idea to do that. It might work, but as I've seen, it only works in part. My friend who is good with electronics made/used something to charge his ipod since his broke, and the charger worked, but it disabled the mechanism that makes the ipod charge more rapidly when it has low battery, then slow down to almost stopping as it becomes fully charged. So it just charged at full for awhile, then melted.

All in all, probably not a good idea.

look in the go pro's manual to see what power rating the go pro needs, and then do the same for the iphone, most smaller electronics are similar, if not the same so it might work.

i use my old bb charger to charge my ps3 controllers
