I love Level 1 and Poor Boyz but Meathead is the way to go. They're movies are so creative and different. They do a lot with they're smaller budget. But if you could, get all three cus Refresh and Every day is a saturday and all they're older movies are so good.

I'm surprised Meatheads is getting so much praise.  Five minutes of their movies are typically worth watching and very creative.  But during the other 30 minutes or so I wish I spent my money on a gun instead so I could shoot myself for watching the terrible east coast pow skiing.  Level 1 and PBP are on an entirely different level than Meatheads and in recent years I have personally been more fond of Level 1 videos.  You can't go wrong with either Level 1 or PBP though.

sorry for the double post
that's how it is on the east coast. it has a raw, real feel because it IS raw and real. I know the actual skiing isn't quite at the level of some of the other companies, but I think you seriously underestimate the draw of seeing a local mountain in a big ski movie. Also, there's a hell of a lot more than just 5 minutes of creative shit in the movies. Finally, the powder isn't THAT bad, and it's legit EC.

It kind of changes from year to year, there is no "best" film crew. Although I am kind of thinking this is Poor Boyz year, their winter trailer was ill, not to mention they hit chad's.

CS Films/Gold Project collab and Stept. Those are the only two movies I'm buying this year. Screw PBP, Level 1, and the Meatheads...

This.

I love the Meats because I know I will never heli ski Alaska pow, or slay huge Bachelor booters. But there's a good chance I'll hit urban or random table jibs with friends, and ski a shit ton of park.

And honestly, I'd rather watch Will and Andy jibbing a ton of barrels than watch someone ski a huge pow line.

I doubt Bobby can make a sick segment. All he can do is competition bangers, which doesn't really make a good segment. You need less flippity spin tricks style for that, and his steez isn't worth watching IMO. I'd rather watch someone like Wallisch for that, who does both

probably just cause im from the east but meatheads because its so sick.  i think seeing someone shred a sketchy tight glade with 6 inches of heavy new england pow is sicker than someone skiing down a AK line or in utah pow.  also a lot of the places they ski ive been too so its cool
