14 Year old mexican shot crossing border.

Yesterday a border patrol agent from el paso killed a 14 year old boy who was among a group of teens that were trying to get into the USA, and were throwing rocks at the agent. The 2nd mexican killed in BP shootings in 2 weeks...this is causing major controversy among the Mexican president calderon and Border security.

Today, the el paso newspaper is filled with stories about this. If you didn't know Ciudad Juarez is among the worldst most dangerous cities...this only created more drama. Cnn is on this ****, Spanish TV host 'Laura' is to pay a visit to Juarez about this

Let me help you out here...

In order to immigrate the legal way everyone is talking about you need to pass a CITIZENSHIP TEST. What I was saying is that I'm sure there are a lot of American-born people that couldn't pass this test. A further example of the stupidity of Americans was a metaphorically enabling situation of dumb people calling Africa a country. Did you not get the notation of sarcasm I clearly left at the end of the sentence? Guess not. The point was I don't want to determine who was to stay and go just meerly that people immigrating the "legal way" had to accomplish things American born people probably couldn't.

People have despised illegal immigration? Oh really? that's not subjective at all. Again, then the hypocrisy I just mentioned doesn't pertain to you, it pertains to others. The governor of Alaska was a reference to the hypocrisy, again if it doesn't pertain to you take it with a grain of salt.

You're worried about stopping money flow out of this country? I highly suggest you put your argument resources into corporations outsourcing and securities exchange, foreign investment, etc rather than a guy sending $5 a month back to Nicaragua.

A list of jobs that could be created? Well uh let's see, if you have more construction workers, you need more food. You also need more hospitals, meaning more doctors and if you can't see where I am going with this I feel sorry for you. Immigration benefits in the long run, no doubt about it. Like I said

That is the most judgmental statement I have ever heard. Show me empirical evidence of "most" people not wanting to stay in this country please.

I was just thinking the same thing. The racist hate is pretty unreal. People legitimately think it is a crime punishable by death to try to cross the us boarder.

first of all, you've spell border wrong, but that's a little nitpicky. Other than that, I've never said it was a crime punishable by death, but it is most certainly a crime. What is the border patrol supposed to do? Just let people waltz in? What is border patrol supposed to do when they are attacked? These people weren't just walking in quietly, they were throwing rocks and causing a ruckus. It is ridiculous to attack the people who have sworn to protect the border for doing their god damned jobs. But no, they must be racists automatically because they are required to protect the border from Mexicans, so we should just send all of them to prison for their hatred. We should handcuff them so they cannot defend themselves when they show up for a job that puts them in contact with violent criminals who have weapons and aren't afraid to use them. It is shocking that this story has gotten so much play. You don't get the same reaction when FBI agents like Robert Rosas who was shot in the head by crimmigrants sneaking across the border. Or how about Robert Krentz, shot and killed on his own property. Nope, you never hear these stories because it would be so racist to "misconstrue" the situation like that. After all, we need to take into account that these people are coming from nothing and have been literally cast out by their government. We cannot blame them for wanting a better life in the US, and if people are killed in the process of their transition, we should be OK with that because they "need" to live here. We should all have compassion because we live such wonderful lives that we must sacrifice our national safety and the lives of innocent citizens to accommodate these poor souls.

And if you rob a store, then start attacking the cop who tries to stop and arrest you, your asking to get shot.

This kid broke US law, and then attacked the lawman trying to enforce that law.

While not a big fan of people fence jumping and wading over the Rio Grand to get in here illegally shooting a 14 year old and killing them just fucking sucks. Couldn't they have winged him or done something NOT involving a kill shot?

I'd say a massive 25 foot wall along the entire border, complete with a moat filled with alligators. On the wall, we can post archers and trebuchets. Scatter some drawbridges and murder holes along the wall to drop rocks and boiling oil down and you've got a good recipe for defense.

Anyway you are proving my point. You think it is ok to shoot a kid for throwing rocks. You can try to justify it how every you want but that is the bottom line.

1 border patrol guy, 20 mexicans throwing rocks, points gun and says stop throwing rocks and cross back into mexico, they keep throwing rocks, he shoots. pretty sure thats probably how it went and well its that mexicans fault for not turning around and going the other way when the gun was drawn.

sorry but in this case i do think its ok. he was breaking the law, then trying to hurt the people enforcing the law. like the other guy said, its like if you just robbed a store, and attacked the cop trying to arrest pointing a gun at you. your a criminal attacking a cop. and id rather the criminal get shot than the cop risk getting hurt to protect the criminal. now if they had the ability to, i would say they should have used some other means to stop him. if i had to take the shot, id try to hit a limb so it didnt kill him.
but in the end the kid made a very bad decision and died because of it. its his fault he got shot.
