I'm looking for a new cruiser, pusher, just to roll around on kind of board. I already have a downhill/freerideboard, my landyachtz dually. I've been looking at the landyachtz bamboo pinner, and the bustin strike mostly, anyone have thoiughts on either of them?

strikes are sweet, those are def. nice boards. i just road a loaded pin last week, fun, but real small. fairly narrow, not the best if you want something to cruise and just hang out on. if youve got a freeride DH board, you should get something with Indys instead of reverse kinpin trucks. it will be lower, so it doesnt need to be dropped, you can have a nose/tail, itll be more surfy and carve better. they are a bit trickier to setup, but they really do ride awesome, I highly recommend something with Indys for your second board. as for the deck, i have no idea. check my pics, if you see what you like though i can hook you up with something, i do customs.

I have a sector nine mainland it was cheap and really fun for pumping, really smooth and fun to whip out turns on.

nother thing, get something a lil longer. longboards are getting shorter and shorter, but something in the 46-50 range, with loose ass trucks and a decent width will be one of the most fun boards you will ride.

Might I suggest an Original board of some kind? They are literally the shit. You can't downhill on it but seeing as you already have a downhill board, an Original would be a pretty legit addition to your quiver. My favorite thing for cruising around town. They aren't as good/comfortable as a drop thru for long distance pushing or anything because they are on fat risers, but they are kick ass for pedestrian slalom if you live in a pretty crowded city.

If you haven't heard about Original look it up on Silverfish or something, but my god man, it will change the way you think about a carving board. The whole way you skate on that thing is different. You can throw your weight so far into the turns, its like surfing or something. Fuckin miracles man.

Loaded boards are ill if you have the cash. they are grande expensive but worth every penny.

I have ridden it and it is sick. insane amount of flex but its not like your riding a board made of jello. you might want to search on silverfish for a better review but most people there seem to like it to.+

Get a loaded dude. I just got my Dervish in the mail today and ive ridden it for the past 6 hours. Its like im skating on a cloud haha. My friend has a pin tail which is shorter and more for carving and no downhill at all. I like the dervish alot better but thats just me.

no my friend; what you need is a Legendary Merlin. This one is straight purple drankin'. Those bennett vectors with orang's, I'd probably kill for those on my merlin

i own this. its so sick. slides beautifully. awesome for bombing hills. and great carver. i have the paris colton trucks and abec11 gumballs 78a. awesome combo and would be awesome as a commuter too

I've done alot of research and have come to a few conclusions, I'd prefer a bamboo board, flexy for pumping, but still a good pusher, I like the idea of kicktails for getting up and around curbs and such, and the board needs to be nimble, fast, good carver. So still keeping the bustin strike in mind, I've looked at loaded, either a dervish or a tan tein. Thoughts?
