I'm new to the freestyle sking scene, and I've heard the term "afterbang" used a lot, and i will give +karma to whoever gives me a legit answer.

After landing a sick skiing trick you ride away all steezy and relaxed.
and
After throwing down your tightest move on the hill, leaning back with your hand on the front of your pants and chilling as you ride away like its no big deal.

I think of it as almost over-rotating on your trick after you land. Say you pull a cork 3 left side and land facing front again you rotate your body as if you were still trying to spin another 90. That's my way of afterbanging at least. Afterbanging is open to interpretation from everybody, adds to your own style.

Be careful when "afterbanging" a guy told me a story how this other guy he knew "afterbanged" so hard he shit his pants, broke both his legs, and started a avalanche that killed everyone in a hundred mile radius.
