Holy fucking fuck face.

This is a steal for those of us thinking of scoping out South America. I've been chekcing flights now for the past month, and I see prices going from $800 to $1300 from O'Hare to Santiago.

Jet Blue as I think Rowen pointed out is having a $10 air fare special. Well cool, this isn't $10. BUT HOLY FUCK

South America was a pipe dream

Where is Santiago and which airline are you flying? I'm assuming Santiago is in either Chile or Peru or somewhere in the Andes.

Thats so cheap I wonder what airfare from LAX is (cheaper? shorter flight?). Might have to scrap my trip to England if I can go ski in S. America for 1/3 of the airfare. (not to mention I'm sure everything is stupid cheap there, <3 travelling in 3rd world countries.)

What airline are you flying? I'd like to check prices.

There are no flights on jetBlue to Santiago, Chile genius. You're looking at flights to Santiago De Los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic. And to whoever posted above about "lol I enjoy 3rd world countries" get a fucking clue dude, Chile isn't cheap, nor is it really 3rd world.

and with taxes out the door im looking at $338 + 124.

but thats still at least 2/3rd off.


and santiago is in chili.

if you go to TGR they have a fuck load of pages on skiing South America.

This deal is prettty hot though. Once before I found round trip outta NYC to Peru for $409 round trip + taxes then I was planning inter-continental flight from Peru to Santiago, but this is just CHEAP

well sir smarty pants, the rant was in response to your comment. if you obtain the ability to comprehend what you read then you would have picked up on the fact that the "rant" was not me professing my strong hatred for how i always use improper grammar on the internet, but simply expressing how utterly annoying it is when one points out such a stupid detail that only a true retard can not distinguish the difference between. now should i become nice and nit picky and point out the fact that your last "sentence" was in fact not a sentence at all? it is rather obvious you possess the ability to form half a sentence, seeing as how the noun is in place, but to yours, and my dismay, you have left out the ever so crucial predicate, therefor rendering that last "sentence" incomplete and nonsensical.

And whoever said Chile wasn't cheap, IDK I've never been to South America, but the currency conversion rate from dollars seems to be 1--->526.31 if I'm not mistaken which seems ok to me. Thats a lot better than India which was 1--->44.

Compared to the states, some stuff is cheaper here and some other stuff is not... and this thread just show the ignorance level of some people, not just americans, it's really suprising... when i went to the states to work in february, some people asked me if here in Chile it was also february or if we had television and cars...

I have no money, I like to travel, traveling to somewhere like Chile is going to be much cheaper than going to London for example where I get there and because of exchange rates the amount of money i brought is cut in half, and everything still costs the same.

Going to these countries does nothing but boost their economy, so what is stupid?
