I won't say that my edits are better than something i idolized as a teenager, the Pterodactyl blood trailer is still one of my favorite videos ever and some of their older edits are amazing.

i'd say that there are very few groups dubbing themselves as "crews" these days.  everyone claims to be a production company.

fewer edits, more feature lengths.  everyone savin' the shots.

there has been the emergence of more fully sponsored series, like TC, chug life, etc...

i'd say, Gold Project, clown school, and New Intel are some of the last remaining "crews" who make edits for the love of edits.

You can't compare them. Trends, trickery, filming capacity have all changed so much in the last 4 years.

Clownschool edits are fucking amazing, ihateny edits are fucking amazing, old 4bi9 edits are fuckin amazing.

I still watch the old 4bi9 September/ October edits, Goblin edits, the old T-Wall edits and they still blow me away. Clownschool edits do the same.

for those two edits posted above (my newbingness can't quote them for some reason)-

IHNY edit- First time i ever saw this edit i got to :47 and paused the video to just face palm. That made me rethink freeskiing as a whole in about 30 seconds of shock. Having seen that rail in real life before i was just in shear amazement that a skier fucking slid it. Not too far from my house. This was at a time for me where if you could slide a park rail that the boarders hit you were "good". These guys just opened my eyes to the shear insanity that freeskiing has become.

4bi9 edit- the more and more i see that Sixers AI jersey in a million edits, the more that i secretly think that it has come down from the Gods. That thing is STIL chugging alone like Thomas the mother fucking Tank Engine.
