so pretty much what the title says. some guys think they have found the ark. but they dont even think that its kinda unrealistic that the sea level was around 13,000 ft higher as it is now AND has no other evidence anywhere else, but who cares, its written in the bible.

inb4 some christian declares the bible as historic accurate and godly inspirated.

first of all you evidence for why you don't think it's the ark is ratarded!  If you even knew the story of Noah's ark you would know that the ark came to rest on a fucking mountain while the water receded thus why if we did find the ark it wouldn't be at sea level you dumb ass.  Use your damned brain.  Anyways i doubt it's the ark but we will see.

haha nice.  There are some many aspects of this world we can't explain that don't have to do with the bible also, so when everything on this earth can scientifically be explained then I might take into consideration where all the water went, or maybe i will just keep believing in god and since he made the earth i'm sure he could flood it with water and make it go somewhere....or maybe even disappear but hey now, since we can't prove it with science i must be in a fairly land sorry.

ok the fire ball thing was 4 BILLION YEARS ago, the DINOSWORDS fought against each others 65+ MILLIONS OF YEARS ago, but noahs ark seemed to cruise the then-worldwide ocean some thousand years ago.

yo op! they found that a longggg time ago. but other evidence..

in the Philippine islands i went scuba diving and my instructor told me about these massive clams up in the cliffs. we went climbing up one of them and this thing was huge! easily 1000 pounds

The Philippine Islands are located in a clusterfuck area of geological activity due to the kinematic motions of the plates surrounding the poor little Philippine plate.  These motions are what pushed your poor little clam friend 4000 feet in the air.

Kind of a funny tabloid article, and perhaps it'll be interesting to see what they found there if in fact settlements at that altitude are highly unusual. But the fact of the matter is that almost all modern theologians consider the story of Noah's Ark to be non-historical. It was (obviously) intended to be a story with a moral, not a historical account.

so this is turning into a debate about how earth couldn't have been covered in water...the rocky mountains we all know and love used to be under water and that is why you can find fossils of fish and aquatic organisms at the top of some of those mountains...and there are many peaks in the rocky chain that exceed 13000 ft

Ummmm really? I think you need to do some digging. The region where the rockies are was under water millions of years ago when it was at a much lower level in relation to the rest of the earth. Due to plate tectonics, there was massive uplift and now the region goes well above 14000 is some places. You can't use bits of science that prove your point a disregard those that don't.

Also, in general, seriously? Noah's Ark? The pope himself probably doesn't believe that shit. It scares me that some people are taking a story from a british tabloid seriously. Why aren't you freaking the fuck out about all the stories about aliens living among us?

Even if they found a whole boat there it wouldn't prove anything...
Not to mention, all you have to do is consider the necessary size of a boat that can fit every single species of animal on earth along with enough food each of them to last the journey to rule this out... I could go on and on listing all of the reasons why the story of Noah`s Ark is completely ridiculous, but it really just comes down to common sense.

If you honestly believe that it is a true story, you should seriously consider the possibility that you are mentally retarded.
