Now I understand..after watching team canada's edit why simon was so disgusted with the results...No hate on canada's edit..it was good but I mean...their banger ender trick was a trick that russ henshaw did unnatural.

ur an idiot. and plus dont blame team america for being bitches, because they were upset about the criteria of the judging and were suprised by it, and then were angry about how hard they worked to make the best edit while (no hate on Canada) did not put out an edit based on the insanity of the skiing, so TOM AND SIMON (notice how i did not say team america because im pretty sure Schlopy was uninvolved) were angry at the judging and put out their video

I'm 14 first of all second of all it doesnt need lil wayne butthe song was a huge part of the poblem i was part of he ruining the edit andthird of all of course I take skiing seriously because I love it and my favorite part of skiing is rail and boxes so I like jibs I mean look at team america and all the sick jibs and boxes they had in it also team newschoolers team canda's was absolutely fucking terrible

It isn't jsut about skiing. The video itself was really good. Do you know how they judge? no. There isn't some rule that says that you have to have at least 2 mins of urban. The video was the funniest, the most entertaining, and had sick skiing.

yeah it was full of banger shots, supplemented by an amazing amount of commentary and artsy lifestyle and scenery shots. it wasnt an hour of ski porn like youre making it out to be.

That's the judging system on the JOSS website and that's not the one they apparently used to pick the winner. I mean Team Canada is missing a whole category. It makes sense Team American is angry and i bet the other teams were too.

You're right, Schlopy wasn't a bitch about it, and he is super dope at skiing. Tom and Simon on the other hand were soft as fuck (not their skiing), it's a judged sport, their will always be controversy, deal with it you pussies.

that song was so dope, im so glad it wasn't white boys trying to look ghetto and hard as fuck to some g-tune knowing that skiing is the whitest most expensive sport on the planet.

sure it wasn't the best skiing, but that was the best ski edit i've ever seen.. i could care less about the lack of urban or dubs, there are a million other fucking ski edits or out there that have all that shit, about time there was some change.

all of the edits were so sick, whether it was from the editing aspect, the dope riding or the humor. I see why Team Canada won on the overall video side of things, but they definitely didnt have the best riding in their edit, no doubt the riding was incredible, but Team NS had insane riding, so did Team Down Under, America, and Norway.

IN MY OPINION judging should have included even catagories for best riding, humor etc. With equal winners in each, no judging on things the riders (by what I've read) didn't know of.

ive stayed out of this because it shouldn't even be an argument.. but now its getting ridiculous. Canada's edit won because it was more of a film. Think about who Jon is... of course he wants to tailor his event to be a sort of film festival. That being said, what kind of movies have a longer lasting effect: Wes Anderson movies or Michael Bay movies. Sure Bay brings a lot to the table in terms of technical stuff, but at the end of the day his movies have absolutely no permanancy. I can't remember one thing in particular from US's edit, but Canada's sticks with me pretty well. Save all the banter over comparing tricks for the Powder Awards, take a deep breath and just be easy NS.
