Look Pivot vs. Marker Griffon

Anyone have experience/ opinion on the two bindings?

They're both rather SEARCHBAR.

In all honestly, forget the Griffon. The Pivot/FKS is a much superior binding, almost as light, and made of mostly or all metal (depending on which version, 18/15 DIN are both all metal, 14 DIN has a plastic toe.)

The FKS/Pivot has a better release pattern, is more durable, and Rossignol/Look have a better track record than Marker, I must say.

Look Pivot's for sure! No better binding on the market! burly! Best heel retention. More forward elastic travel. maintains better flex pattern of ski with shorter mounting zone.
Not too big a fan of Marker from several bad experiences.
