Help with a KS longboard design!

Dear NS-

I would love some help figuring out what Kracked Skulls longboard fits me best. I'm 6'0 and 160 lbs, i've been longboarding for 2ish years, and i use my longboard for pretty much everything. I bomb small hills, i carve other hills, and i use my board to get me from party to party in the summers (claim). Anyways, i wanted a cheap board that was decent at everything and KS seems to fit my profile pretty well. I just have a few questions about them.

What is the difference between the M1 and the Schimitar? Is one stiffer than the other and do they ride different or is the only difference the cutouts for wheels?
What length should i get? I was thinking a 43 inch M1 or a 42 inch schimitar. Should i go shorter or longer?
What kind of wheels should i put on this beast?
Im assuming i should get the Abec berings. Am I right in my thinking?

That would be fantastic if you guys could answer my questions, and i dont want any of that "buy a loaded board" bullshit. I know they are sick but i dont have room in my budget for them. Plus i'd like some explanations in why I should go a certain length or get certain wheels. I have ridden a 46 inch M1 with the 77 mm strikers and i thought it was a tad long for my tastes.

the longer it gets with KS the flexier, i ride a 42, and im 6'2" or so. i personally like the stiffer flex because i bomb/carve alot of pretty big hills.

remember that if you want the real big wheels, you need the m1 scimitar. the regular m1 doesnt have big enough cutout.

I'm 6'0 and 170lbs and I'm going for the M1 43" but I'm also gonna add the extra fiberglass since when I tried my friends 43" i found it a bit too flexible.

So yeah it's pretty much your call on the fiberglass part, but I think a 43" sounds good.
Don't know much about the wheels though, I opted for the 72mm Freeride 80A.

i have a M1 46 with the 75 mm big zigs its fuckin dope so much better than any longboard ive ridden its so flexy u can flex and boost through carves on it soo much fun

As far as flex goes, the shorter the board, the stiffer it will be. If you want a longer board, add a layer of glass.
The difference between the lengths will also affect turning radius. The shorter boards will turn tighter, but be a little harder to control on hills. Also with the shorter boards your feet are closer to the trucks, making it easier to control your slides.
Personally, I would go with a shorter board, but that's just preference.
As for wheel choice, you can't really go wrong with any of the choices on their site. The harder wheels won't roll as well on rough ground, but will slide easier. Softer wheels tend to roll easier, grip more, but are harder to slide.

Because you have been longboarding for a while and you are now upgrading, I would say spend the few extra dollars and go with the scimitar with some rf's or otangs. Either way you decide to go, I would highly recommend investing in venom supercarve bushings. 90a cone and barrel in the front, and 2 90a barrels in the back.
