they are 16 din bindings, you dont need that much binding if you are riding on 168's. Get sth 12's or something so you dont hurt yourself

First off, I doubt you need the 16 DIN, unless you weigh about 150 or more and ski pretty aggressive. Get some Looks.

Sorry for the thread jack but you're probably right. Theres a lot more to releasing than just the DIN. I had 155's this season and can count the times I ejected on one hand, and I'm 6 ft 185 lbs, riding a DIN of 9.

the low din on sth 16s is 9 i believe.

use that to find the din you should be riding give or take a point

if you're at 13 and releasing a lot i would assume someone failed at setting your forward pressure

with incorrect forward pressure you could ride at a 29 and still pre-release all the time
