Just thinkin.. Flip on flip off?

So it seems these days that in any slope comp or rail jam that a variety of flips are done either onto or off of rails. Namely the rodeo 4 onto a rail, and the misty/rodeo 4's that are done off of rails by pretty much everyone these days. My wondering is.. how crazy hard would it be to combine the two? Correct me if i'm wrong, but I don't believe i've ever seen it done before. To me it seems though like sooner than later someone will be able to rodeo 4 on, and rodeo/misty 4 off. Any thoughts as to what kind of rail it would take and who would be the first to do it?

I think the main challenge with this is finding something big enough, well enough set up, and appropriate for the trick - it would be really hard to set up something for that. You'd probably need a like inverted rainbow box type thing, and even then just landing off the first flip and locking on for the second would be pretty ridiculous. I'm sure that there are tons of skiers out there who have the skill, but there's not really good features for this kind of thing anywhere that I've seen.

Yeah the only feature I could imagine it on would be like a flat down flat box with a drop after the last flat. Even then it would be pretty crazy

well, i couldn't find any videos, but people can flip up (usually a lincoln loop) which is sorta like a flip on to flip off but inverted (flip off, flip on) so i can see this being done.

also inverted rainbow box?

what if it was a big step up flat box

misty 4 on and cuz its a step up it wont suck to land on then just jump again and continue the same rotation flipping out assuming the flat box is hella tall

i don't really want to see this happen, but I'm sure it's in the future of comp skiing. In "That's Hood" Twall gets 2 on misty off so it will happen eventually...i just really don't want it to.

exactly what i was thinking and if you watch people flip off, they never really lock on, it seems more like they catch their edges, then flip, so it shouldnt be too too hard to do, still really hard tho.

True, but I think a couple years from now, Dub flips will be thrown down with style. At that point things like this will seem like a huck. Eventually everything will just keep getting bigger and bigger and those things that get bigger will start getting more stylish.

the flip up is kinda opposite of this though, like they both involve flipping onto and off of a rail, but in different order. The flip on flip off just involves 2 flips and not one. Which is harder?
