What does a Frat House look like on the inside?

Well, i have this project going on, and i need to know what kinda stuff you can find inside a frat house. I'm not talking stairs and doors, more like beer pong tables and other stuff like that. And decorations, if that excist.

typical pitt frat house in the complexes consist of...

a basement with rasta paint on the walls
a dj booth kinda thinger with an annoying fat shitty dj who never takes my requests
a bar that is used as a beej table
a kitchen that is filled with beer complete with a service window which the serve out of
3 pong tables
a dance floor covered in beer (probably piss and vomit too, sometimes a passed out chick)
5 disgusting couches filled with girls getting fingerbanged or people who are passed out
then there is the stripper pole, which has about 10 desperate girls clinging onto it for dear life.

typical pitt frat house that's not in the complexes consist of...

nasty stained carpet
couches
a door on supports for a pong table
red cups sitting everywhere

Kitchen/dining room with a magical separate beer reserve place.

Red cups and beer cans everywhere.

we recently put around $60,000 worth of renevations into our house to get it back up to speed. We have a professionally built bar in one of our "party rooms" downstairs with a flatscreen tv behind the bar. Theres a dart board hanging on a wall adjacent to the bar. We have 3 tables for playing beirut or flip cup or civil war or many other drinking games. One of these tables is in an X shape, so it actually works out to be 4 playing surfaces.

In our other "party room", known as the "dance room" we have 4 really big blacklights and another, more shitty, bar that connects to the kitchen for dispensing of alcohol during parties. Downstairs we put in a recently furnished library with a stocked bookshelf, leather couches, big plants, and an electric fireplace with a huge LCD tv for viewing pleasures

The kitchen is very standard, has everything you need, nothing more. We're constantly buying silverware becasue its always being stolen, broken, misplaced

Upstairs in the "brothers room" we have an enormous couch which can fit up to around 15 people, a GIANT moose head (named Lou) and its all topped by a 72 in tv. Yes i said 72 inches. Its huge. Theres a refrigerator up there too.

The rest of the house is pretty basic. we have 2 full bathrooms, and 2 half bathrooms. Brothers all have room (18 rooms, some are singles, others are doubles) and we have a porch with a nice grill.

Whole house gets cable and wireless internet

Hope this helps and i dont get judge for being in a frat. At my school (2,400 students) you're typical fraternity is much different than at larger schools)

people who join frats have to pay scrilla to be in them. i imagine the 60k came from the students and some other sources

plus frats try and actually raise money for a cause...they might have put some of those funds in to their living facilities.

ours has a huge basement with a bar and dj booth. There are 3 pong tables down there with the fraternity letters or seal painted on them. In an adjacent room there are tables kinda like a diner with 3 flat screen tvs and two wrap huge couches, its supposed to be kinda like a sports bar. Upstairs is all rooms and one big chapter room. The chapter room is where all the composites and awards are kept. There are also a bunch of couches and chairs in the chapter room for meetings and shit.

we all pay pretty expensive dues which contributed to it. We were kicked off campus in 04 and had to relocate, so the school gave us some money to convert the piece of shit (it really wasnt even in a live-able condition) to something that was at least acceptable

and the beauty of greek life is that you have alumni and a national organization that really want you to do well (probably because they live their lives through us) and are very willing to make generous donations to make that happen

bong or pipes sitting in the most obvious places so everyone who comes in can see how chill they are.

tons of empty bottles lined up somewhere in the house so everyone can see how awesome they are.

a subaru parked outside, probably a wrx or sti with a DC sticker. and a big gay lifted truck somewhere, probably super clean, and never seen anything but dry roads, same with the subaru.

gay porn on everyones computer.

overweight chicks who think they're not inside wearing skimpy clothes with their fat folds sticking out, a couple pounds of makeup, no personality or self respect, mostly used as an accesory to hide everyones homosexuality from visitors.

football game playing on the tv

probably a couple weights sitting out in an easy to see place

a beer pong table sitting out somewhere, probably with some retarded bro'ey paint job

beer brand posters on all the walls, again to show that everyone has the ability to consume liquids

i don't live in a frat house, but we have an appartment shared with 10 students, each has a personal room with shower and sink.

shared = 2toilets and 1 kitchen/living room and a garage...

kitchen and hallway walls are completely filed with party-posters and posters of cool stuff
(read nekkid chicks!)

our kitchen has 1 cooking isle with 6 plates, 2plates are broken because we spilled beer over em; if you turn em on all the power in the house will switch off :)

we have 3 crooked bikes in our garage for spare parts

we have a cosy couch configuration (which i regularly harvest for money that fell between the cushions :)

also we have a beer-boot for our weekly party nights :)

+ we have a beer keg on the first floor with a hose to the kitchen, so we basically have a tap :)

we have a toilet with a whiteboard on the inside; every time you poo, you write something funny on it for the rest to read (or you draw flying vaginas like my friend does...)

we have a dartsboard with pictures of professors and ex-girlfriends

we have 2 fridges; one for food and one for booze (the booze fridge is almost twice the size of the food fridge)

we have enough canned food to survive a nuclear fallout...

our floor is permanently sticky; so shoes 24/7 are a must....

we have 5 fire extinguishers that are all empty...

we had a wall in our kitchen thats completely covered with beercans, from bottom to floor
(our janitor "cleaned" it up, the bastard! )

we have an unwritten rule about making noise (loud music, humping your girlfriend, whatever)
-> you don't complain and you won't be complained about....

we tapped the TV from our neighbours (its a nepalese nightshop so we can only receive weird indian and nepalese channels :D )

we have a fungus growing contest in our fridge

we have a beer-agenda; every week someone else is responsible for getting new beers / bringing back empty containers, etc...

etc etc, if i think of more, i'll post it up !

Everything really dirt.
Lots of empty beer cans everywhere.
Nasty dirty broken(in one way or another) couches.
Paddles, Composite pictures and Huge TV.
Bar/ DJ booth, that you think would get used more.
Chubby girls with no personality everywhere who have fucked at least (usually more) 5 guys in the house.
Assholes everywhere who think they are better than everyone.

They are actually a lot lamer than you would think.   There are always the cool one or 2 around campus but most of them kinda suck.

Back when I went to WSU (Washington State University) i knew this kid who was in a frat. He was always bragging about the "high five shitters" at his frat house. I'm fairly certain they were just a row of toilets with no doors or partitions. If you want a true bonding experience with your bros I suppose you would need a bathroom setup similar to this.

layout of my frat house:

Basement: shitty, dungeon like with a low ceiling and totally unfinished, basically a dirt floor. Amenities include a dry bar, beer pong table, and huge speakers. Our letters are spray painted on all the walls.

1st floor: Actually pretty nice, hardwood floors, 2 beer pong tables with our letters engraved on them, a big screen TV and couches... hmmm posters of girls wiht big tits on the walls probably.

2nd floor: nothing really, just a bathroom and like 4 bedrooms

attic/3rd floor: VIP lounge- Stripper pole on a platform, backroom with no lights for fucking random girls, big jagermeister banner on the wall, window that makes it so you can pee/pour beer on people walking on the sidewalk, more posters with titties, another dry bar with DJ equipment and big speakers, some couches and more big ass speakers for bumping hathbanger, 2 more beer pong tables. Sticky linoleum floors.

Forgot to mention on pretty much every floor there's bedsheets/plywood/whatever covering the windows, god forbid we let people see the inside, or let any light in.

yeah a friend of mine made the bad decision to live in a house with a bunch of bro's, not a frat, but close enough.  and occasionally they would have parties that were extremely lame, like every guy wearing a wife beater or with their shirt off, if they have one on its an xs tapout shirt,  everyones got a flatbill, everyone's got this super serious blank stare, if you goof off or do anything non serious they look at you like they wanna kick your ass. and fat disgusting sticky chicks everywhere. 

anyway they would always be playing underground rap and shit like that, which isnt always bad, but at a party full 100% with douchebags its horrible. so almost everytime they have a party like that we would change the music to miley cyrus, beach boys, justin beiber or whatever, aron carter, enya, cyndi lauper, stuff like that.

 nobody knew how to get to the little control unit thing for the sound system, so people would be shitting their pants getting so pissed off at the music, we have gotten punched so many times and almost got in like 100 fights, but they never happen because we end up doing something super gay like slapping their ass or compliment their nice body or something, which pisses them off more.  and in a party like that, gay is the way to be, because it makes them look bad to all the disgusting chicks they wanna get with, and its the one thing that pisses them off the most.
