im a filmer for skiing/snowboarding and im in the middle of my second year and looking to purchase the vx2000 this summer. What feedback can i get from people who have filmed with it?
What are you primarily going to film with it? When I was making my decision between a VX2k and a DVC30 one of the biggest factors was that I heard that VX2k's had pretty poor cold weather performance and that the heads were temperature sensitive. I PM'ed you about it
if you look for a while youd be able to cop a dv100a or b on ebay or craigslist for the price of a vx2000. And IMO the dvx is a better cam since it offers you so much more control over the image with scene files and such, and the ability to shoot 30p and 24p along with 60i would be nice
