What were your first twin tips?

Title explains it. I remember riding some volk's back in i think 2000 that were "twinTips" and then the those broke so i took some old race skis boiled them in hot water and tried the bending under a door trick. This made them twip tip but they delammed within a week. And then i got a used pair of the original bright orange 1080s CLASSIC.

Line 1260s. Learned all the rail basics and did my first pencil 5s and 7s on those. After 2 years they were way too small, too soft and the edges were useless, but I wish I still had them for nostalgia sake

2011 156cm Elan Slingshot season rentals. This is bringing back lots of memories; that was a big snow year and the first season I was stoked on skiing and really went around exploring the unmarked tree skiing at my home hill.

Atomic Tweak JR’s (if you could even call them twin tips - they skimped on the kids ”twin tip”). The grey and orange ones from around 2002.

Actual first twin tips - line Mike Nick 2005. LOVED that graphic.

I rented some salomon 1080s and they were the most stiff, unplayful, hateful pieces of shit i ever skied on. Felt like skiing on styrofoam glued to steel.
