NOOO XBOX ate my MW2 disc!!!

Somehow my xbox put 4 small radial cracks around the center ring of my disc, and then somehow made a few tiny scratches on the surface of the disc itself. First I noticed black lines mixed in with the textures of the walls/floors of the maps. Now I keep getting the disc unreadable error. FML, FML a lot. I doubt they are going to do anything but Microsoft is going to get a very angry email about this!

Oh, and now the xbox is giving me E74 again. When I already fixed it (the permanent way) 2 months ago. I don't know anything else I can do to give the GPU better connection anymore. Really FML now.

The cracks coming out from the center are usually caused by taking it in and out of the cases. I put all my games in one of those slide in CD holders and there fine

My disc was fucked too but you can sort of fix it. You have to borrow a working disc from someone and then install mw2 to your hard drive and then you can play with your own disc even though its fucked. Worked for me and some other people I know.
Microsoft will only replace it if its a microsoft game..

Well I ended up fixing the disc by buffing out the scratches with toothpaste. It's worked in the past, and it's still a great trick. It runs fine so I guess the cracks don't matter. They probably got there from my roommate always taking it out to play Halo when hes really high and smashing it in the case.

But has anyone else noticed their mw2 disc seems thinner than all other games? It might be just mine though.

I also fixed the Xbox again with a heatgun. I will never let the thing die!
