CR Johnson has Passed Away

I just got a text message. Apparently CR hit his head on a rock while skiing Headwall (Squaw) this morning and has passed away. I will keep this thread updated with details as I get them.

This is NOT joke my best friend is a lifty at Squaw and this was told to him by a Patrol just now...again...details if I get them....this is unbelieveably sad for anyone who knew CR and everything he went though. He grew up riding at the academy with a lot of my friends

Oh my god I hope this isn't true. Just check his facebook and Scott Gaffney left a message that makes me think its true. Fuck. This is a terrible thing. CR is such a nice guy and incredibly stoked person. So sick getting to see him throwing down bio 9 opp mutes last year in person at ski bowl. Please let this not be true.
