you can be pregnant and still be a curling olympian. hell, you can be fucking fat and still be a curling olympian. if you want to say it takes strategy, play chess. if you want to say it takes skill, make it down the freestyle moguls course in less than 25 seconds.

K-rob you're going to have a heart attack someday. Curling isn't a sport the same way golf isn't a sport. And to large extent, the same applies to baseball. It takes more skill than athleticism. But it's entertaining and no one whose opinion matters seems to want to get rid of it, so...

I recentley discovered that curling is the most amazing thing to fall asleep watching, and if they had curling featuring the announcing skills of morgan freeman, then they could sell it to insomniacs quite successfully.

mega ignorant post. Just because other sports take skill, doesn't mean curling doesn't? Did you see the fucking crazy triple take out a couple years ago? did you see the game the other day where the guy threw a rock a hundred feet down ice and fit it exactly between two others to the button? i don't curl, but that's largely because i don't have the mad skills required. Moguls are hard, so's curling, before you can do both, you can't say shit

omgz you won an olympic medal? in what discipline?
i can sweep ice like a motherfucker, despite being the fattest person at the winter olympics.
also i can throw a rock down some ice and when i screw up i can hope to heaven that my team can fix my crappy shot by altering the surface of the ice as it goes along.

at least golf doesn't have 2-3 helpers pushing the golf ball around in midair to try and get it in the hole because the person who hit it didn't hit it with "skill". the hardest part of curling is delivering the rock without losing your balance and falling over.

but hey, i'm glad scotland can win a medal in SOMETHING.

Are you spying on me haha? Ive literally taken 3-4 naps falling asleep to curling. I fell asleep to the US v. China match tonight, fucking bomb nap too. There must something about watching those stones go up and down the ice that makes your eyes tired. I do enjoy watching it though. Itd be a fun sport to play on a night out with your friends, sip on some brews and curl sounds like a plan to me.
