What was your first car and all of your other cars?

I know there are threads about your current cars, but what cars have you owned since you got your license? what year, model, how many miles, how much did you pay (or your parents pay) and any cool stories about the car.

1st car - 1994 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition, poop green, 260,000 miles, I payed $600 for it haha rusted out but still ran like a champ, I put a system in it but I wired it wrong and my amped would overheat and the subs would shut off, I miss it, sold for $600

2nd car - 1993 Ford Ranger Splash 4x4, Red/Orange, 80,000 miles inherited it from my dad who payed $7000 in 1997, 33in tires + 4x4 = nothing can stand in my way, Little bro is taking it.

3rd car - 2002 Acura RSX Type-S, grey, 111,000, payed $7,500, cd player caught on fire and now I don't have a radio, so I hate it. also it's for sale.

First/current: A 97 Camry. Has a NS "My skis cost more than this car" sticker on it, because its true. Runs great no matter what I do to it though, I beat the shit out of it and all I've done is blown a CV joint.

Well next year I'm going to inherit my parents 1970 beater Mercedes e-class. To make winter driving at all possible, you need BIG lead weights in the trunk, and I'm 95% sure I can't get a Thule kit on it, so, I'm saving up for a used, "better car"

payed 300$ for my 1986 vw golf. drove it for a year until the head gasket blew up today. Took it to the mountain alot and it would leak 1L of oil there and back it costed more in oil then gas. well its time to bring it to the scraper and get a vw turbo diesel this time haha

02 Hyundai Accent- got it for free


purchased an evo8 (suck it subaru fags) - as it sits now it has 539 at the wheels as of Sunday night- with the e-85 tune- unfortunately this will be my last summer with the car before i part it out to pay for school shit- it is without a doubt a money pit- 3 years of every penny i have and driving the hyundai as my daily beater- it will ride semi-stock thru my last 2 years of college and then im probably going to sell it

first car was a saturn SLII which i inherited from my brother, who had effectively beat the shit out of it. Drove it for less than a year, then driving to school one day, the front axle somewhat....came off, leaving me with no braking power and no control. Fun fun fun. Oh, and thanks to my brother rear ending someone, it was a red car....with a black hood. It's cool though, i played it off as being a glare shield and people thought i was being serious.

Second car/current car is a 94 toyota corolla. Car has a badass previous owner. The family bought it for their kids. 1 kid became the first female astronaut from the navy, the 2nd became a navy seal, and the 3rd became an airline pilot. And then it came to me. I love this car, and its got a little over 100k miles on it, which for a corolla...is nothing.

My ultimate dream car is some sort of Audi, probably an A4. Eventually when i can afford one new, i intend to buy it, and drive it forever.

1st was a '96 Mazda 323 sedan. It was sick and so tidy. Got it at 45,000km its on 109k now. I still have it but I'm not using it. Cant find any photos of it now

2nd and current is a 1990 Nissan Terrano 2.7td. got it at 150k and ticking over to 160k now.

now i rock this bad boy, 1972 GMC Custom Camper 3/4 ton 4x4

its awesome, the only downside is 8 mpg

1) 1993 Honda Civic Del Sol with the weakest engine. Friend gave it to me for free because it was worth nothing and had an $800 transmission problem. Got it and it turned out there was no transmission problem so CHACHING free car. It was whack as fuck and 1st gear stuck like a bitch and it only had two seats but it was a convertible which was pretty fucking cool. Had like 150,000miles.

2) 1997 Honda Civic Ex Coup with the 1.6L VTEC engine. Sold the Del Sol for a few hundred bucks, borrowed some money from my parents for the down payment, payed $4,500. Car sucked but I ragged the shit out of it, just redlining it constantly all over town. Put some tie bars on it and it made a pretty decent difference. Had like 100,000miles on it

Sold that for $1,500 (it was worth nothing I have NO idea how I sold it), and bought my baby, brand new. 2.0L Turbocharged 4 banger, and fuck yeah I paid extra for the 18's.

First and current: 1994 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder.

I might end up buying my friend's 2004 Silverado 2500HD. However, I am worried about gas and Chevrolet is notorious for being low quality and unreliable. I also don't do any towing and don't really haul much stuff. It would be great for skiing and tooling around offroad since it's 4WD. It would also be a great vehicle for mountain biking.

Take THAT fate. Must have really liked the Mazda 3 huh? Awesome car, test drove a bunch of them, it was a really hard choice between that and my GTI. They sound so baller stock. Understeers like a bitch though.

haha, my first car was a 1993 VW golf, nicknamed The Green Vintage, seen more backroads and places most cars just shouldn't go, inevitably lead to the end of it.

second car is a 1994 VW golf, diesel,  which is just 22 000kms away form having 600 000kms on it.  Best car ever!

I just really liked the feeling of solidity and the complete lack of turbo lag. It was also a little bit cheaper, and the insurance is cheaper. I love the steering wheel its amazing. I kind of preferred the mentality behind the interior, its a little more classy. Also at the time I was making some money and was planning to mod the shit out of it, until it had about the same HP as the Mazda (but now I aint got no money lulz). There really isn't any point in modding the Speed 3 because you wouldn't want more than 260HP in a front wheel drive car anyway. Plus the GTI doesn't torque/understeer at all and with the Speed 3 if you dig in to the pedal a bit going round a corner you just end up going straight. GTI gets better gas mileage too, and in my opinion is better looking.

It was a tough, tough choice though. The Speed 3 is BEAST.

definitely legit reasons. so many kids around here have em that are straight tools though, it's funny. completely stock and always trying to race me. yeah my plan was to be putting out about 300 to the wheels and stop, but right now i'm liking my warranty with the simple mods i have on.

It wouldn't get out of first gear sometimes, and it was automatic
It sounded like an airplane driving down the road.
I had a girl in it once, and I think I cockblocked myself because of how shitty it was.
Then one day it just died, all together.

My first car was a 1996 Honda Accord. It was an auto, really slow and boring. I put in a nice sound system with a direct iPod hookup and a sub which made it alright and it got the job done. Very reliable.
