Our national debt

hey everybody!   Its time for math class! So pull Obamas dick out of your mouth and listen up!

our national debt is about 12.35 trillion dollars

a trillion is the same as saying 1 million multiplied by 1 million

counting to 1 million takes 11 and a half days

because a trillion is a million million,  if you counted a million dollars every second, it would take you

12.35 x 11.5= 142 days to pay of the national debt.

so imagine you were payed 1 million dollars second to suck obamas dick.

every minute you would earn 60 million dollars. Every hour you would earn 3.6 billion dollars for doing this. 

At this rate you would have to suck obamas cock for 142 days straight to pay off the national debt. No eating, no sleeping,  just 142 days of obamas cock in your mouth.

lets say you were a normal person and could only do this for 8 hours a day 5 days a week for a regular 40 hour work week.  At this rate you would have to suck obamas dick as a full time job for 596.4 days.
So having a full time job of sucking obamas dick for almost 29 billion dollars a day for the better part of 2 years, you would finally have earned enough money to pay off the national debt.

Math class is over kids!  you can now put the saviors dick back in your mouth.

Really? Really with this thread. President have been upping the national debt for year. Bush set a new record, and obama broke that record in a few month. Out country is in bad shape.

But at least we'll be skiing till our economy collapses.

Here's a little math for you:

Obama has been in office for 13 months (so roughly 1.08 years). According to your calculations, out of the 12.35 trillion national debt, Obama only "contributed" to 1.62 trillion of it, meaning that Bush was "responsible" for the 10.73 trillion?

this whole "i am more intelligent than politicians, managers and jesus"-thing needs to stop.

obama and his team feature the best experts in their respective areas, so i guess they do most of the things right. its just that people always wanna complain about how bad their life goes, even though 90% of all people on the earth would kill their family for being able to live our lives.

honestly, i will NEVER complain living in a country where i have enough to eat, a shelter from wind/rain/snow/cold and social integration and all that beautiful things we have in canada, the US, europe,etc


but sorry, i guess youre from haiti or so and you have reason to complain.

You haven't suggested a solution. You're just telling us to "get off Obama's dick." You are contributing to the debt just as much as the people who are "on Obama's dick." How about you suggest a solution to the problem instead of complaining about it? You also ignore the debt that we accrued under Bush's 8 years. and of that 1.62 trillion, in order to "balance" the budget he would have had to cut literally all discretionary spending, and most of our defense budget. so unless you want everything in this country to stop, and the guys overseas to be SOL, were gonna have to spend.

We live in exponential times.

If you calculate paying off the national debt (which is just a political talking point) on linear terms it seams impossible. However if you take into account the exponential trend of technology and GDP then it becomes quite reasonable.

Not necessarily true, and this goes for every politician with the exception of supreme court justices. We can all agree that we want things fixed and to be stable, the problem is, the plans that will probably lead to that, will take a fair amount of time to develop. Every person in Congress and Senate is shitting bricks right now because elections are coming in a few months. What does this mean? It means that while the intentions are good, politicians do not act on long term strategies. A politician's main goal is to get re-elected. If you are in congress, this means you must compete for your job every 2 years. As we know the vast majority of the constituency is also very short sited, and they want results now or they are voting the incumbents out. Creates kind of a shitty situation, but the main point is that politicians are not always doing what is best, they are doing what will get them re-elected and trying to please us in the short run although it may hurt us over the long haul.
