Why would you not go see it in 3d?  3d mushrooms and flowers growing vs. 2d. Then on top how many mushrooms you eat. I ate what i felt was a reasonable amount for the movie, being that it was the city, big theatre sold out, and the trailer looked a little intense in parts. Went to take a piss mowed down some more. When the movie was about to start finished off my bag in the middle of the theater.

We were stuck like 12 feet back from the screen at floor level. Only spot we could get seats together. Neck crane didn't bother me. First half of the movie I was tripping really hard and sketched out. Felt like it was going to be too intense a movie for how many mushies I ate. Plus there were cops patrollin the lot, pulling people over in the lot. We moved to a different spot, a car pulled in behind us while I was grabbing my buddy some caps, and my friend was like oh shit thats a cop.I was like are you just fucking around? He's like no dude for real. I almost dumped my beer out on his floor. I should have. Sent me into a strange funk to start me out.

By a 1/4 way in, I was fully absorbed into the movie, for better or worse. About halfway ish through I mellowed out, still fully immersed and just enjoyed the shit out of the rest of the movie.


I thought it was awesome. I thoroughly enjoy booming hard at imax 3d movies. This time was better than avatar because worst case if It got to crazy I had friends there. When I saw avatar I went solo.


Go see it. Johny depp had a cool fucking character. Oh yeah, cheshire cat wins hands down

i have to agree with that statement.
also i wouldn't suggest going to 3d. there really weren't too many parts where it added much to the movie.
lastly, i'm pretty sure the more fucked up you are when you attend this movie, the more fun you would have. there really are no scary parts that would trip you out, so go for it!

p.s-the 3d glasses suck fucking balls if have to wear normal glasses underneath them.

it sucks when they take classics and add some new cinema bullshit without adding character to the characters. i hated charlie and the chocolate factory, i watched it on LSD and found more entertainment looking at the ground and/or wall. From what the previews of alice in wonderland look like it might be more of the same.

this movie doesn't do that. johnny depp is hands down the best part of this movie imo. he does an amazing job and absolutely kills his part.
rest of the characters' performances are easily forgettable though. whoever plays Chester the cat does a pretty good job as well as Absolem the caterpillar, but as a whole i would say that the acting is pretty bad in this movie.

I saw this last night high as fuck on brownies. The plot may not have been great, but the movie was fucking sick. I legit stared at the background and shit for most of the movie and that alone was worth the ticket price. I would definitely recommend going to see this. I'm debating about whether or not i should go see it again, but sober this time. oh and P.S. the hatter is scary in some parts.

not worth 10 dollers...  at all.    but the ladies liked it so i sat on my opion till right now. the original animated is by far the best ever.. unless you count the 70;s porn version!

So you hated the movie because you had to wear glasses underneath. Where contacts next time. Seeing it in 3d was worth it for the added depth.

i can't wear contacts. my eyes are an odd shape and contacts don't contour to my eyes properly.

and if i were to do it again i would have saved my $4 and smoked another bowl before the movie. or spent it on $4 more munchies.

i saw this in 3d imax lastnight as well as avatar in 3d imax a few months ago both equally baked at both, i gotta say this was much more freaky/trippy but didnt have the mind blowing factor like avatar did, alice in wonderland is still awesome and is definitely worth seeing

Get a job. I spent 15.50 just for the movie. When I saw avatar I had the costs of a cab in addition to everything else.  Could have found like 800 people to smoke you up before going in to either. And probably could have conserved better so you have weed to smoke before a 3d movie instead of when your doing something stupid.

Hi or tripping on drugs. hahhahahahaha. A lot of kids are new too smoking and like to brag about it. The kind of people that plan the day around it. "Tomorrow I'm going to go to my friends house and were gonna smoke weed" In a couple year they won't be claiming it so hard.

In a couple year you might actually no something about marijuana and other drugs. And why not get high before alice and wonderland or avatar. Movies in the theater are fucking awesome when your frazzle dazzled.

I thought it was pretty sweet but nobody I was with liked it.
But most of them didn't even understand that it was a sequel to the cartoon version instead of jjust a remake with cool effects

i saw it yesterday. i was in the first row which was awful but could still see once you get passed a broken neck. it would have been a lot better if it were a remake, i was hoping to see some of my favorite parts from the original. went in with high hopes and came out disappointed.

3D is the worst thing to happen to cinema. Instead of aesthetically wholesome cinematography, filmmakers are resorting to stupid novelties such as "OMG It's slightly off the screen!!11" 3D didn't impress me when I was 5, and it sure isn't going to impress me now.

And can somebody please make a movie about the ACTUAL Alice in Wonderland story? Every one so far has completely butchered the story and most importantly, the allusions that Lewis Carrol intended. Now people just think its a movie about drugs or some stupid shit.

It wasn't supposed to be based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It was based on Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There. Minus the actual looking glass. They decided to keep the rabbit hole because that's what people think of when they think of Alice in Wonderland.
