Really cool place, but besides the peak and the backcountry, there isnt a whole lot of really gnarly terrain available... not to mention, a lot of it has closed terrain that would otherwise be open and ready to huck if it were at squaw or jackson.

Dont worry, I agree that Whistler's sick... but 'some dope stuff in the trees' does not qualify it to the level of Gnar that Jackson, Alta-Bird, Squaw, and places like that... especially seeing that all the aformentioned places have even more 'dope stuff in the trees'.

ALSO, Whistler's not exactly in the greatest spot as far as snow this season... Tahoe/Mammoth right now has perhaps the most snow as of late, and places in Utah, and New Mexico are off the hook now too.

One more to add to the list: SILVERTON.

I've been to a few places, and although I love shredding pow, skiing lines, and skiing on real mountains, I'm going to have to go with good old COP for this one. Can't recall ever having a bad day there. The jumps may close for weeks on end, the light may get flat as fuck at times, and sometimes its so icy that you can't hit anything, but the amount of good times I've had at COP are far and beyond any other resort I've ever been to. The people there are just super cool, everyone's just shredding and having fun, and its always a good time. Favorite hill by far.
