No health insurance... help!?

After years of staying healthy on the slopes I took a spill yesterday and really messed up my knee and ankle. It very well may require surgery and I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with a similar situation.

Luckily I have a few thousand dollars in cash and a professional full time job possibility coming along this summer, but I will not be able to afford surgery if I need it. ik ik, I should have had health insurance and I had it until Dec 31st, but I am past that now. I think COBRA is not applicable in my case.

Just wondering if anyone has me some advice to help me out.

Who the fuck are you to make speculations like that? And comparing him to a homeless person. If I had to guess he just graduated from college within the past year and lost mom and dads insurance on 12-31. He probably has yet to get a job and is currently without insurance. Its the way life goes, but who are you to call him out? Fuck you.

Oh yeah, and most of the time people between the ages of like 24 and like 30 they don't have insurance unless their job supplies it and in many cases it is cause they don't feel they need it.

And YOU sire are also speculating that the OP is below the age of 25.

Skiing is not one of the most expensive sports in the world, not at all. Piloting, boat racing, motocross,mountain biking, etc, are all more expensive

I'm the person paying for him. I'm the person who didn't get to go skiing the day he got hurt because I was at work, making money to pay for my own health insurance, and for those without. Fuck you, just a spoiled little bitch like him

we do, but without eliminating the private sector and smaller, local insurance companies. No hate btw.
