New Editing Software

Hi, my current editing software Corell Video Studio 12 sucks and locks up and cannot play my hd video well at all, and for my bday im looking for a new editing software because i like to make edits. Please post some ideas of what software u have or think is the best for HD vid. +K

I just ordered Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum. pm if you want to know more once i get it. I will be using GoPro HD shots so i can tell you how it works with HD.

final cut pro. express is good too. talk to your school tech people and maybe you can get a discount because our school uses it... its worth a try.

i have final cut pro and i have no idea how to use it haha.... i used sony vegas at school and it was super easy compared to fcp
