I need to write a research paper on art and culture in the world.  Any body have any good central ideas.  I want to concentrate on struggles in africa.

art can also be music, so maybe focus in on the african music and it's impact on the rest of the world, like rap, reggae, roots, disco, etc...
then relate all that back to old african rythm music...
